Simply not much avenues to get "better". Bring back last year's team. Maybe tweak the 7th/8th man in the rotation. That's the only realistic outcome, which is fine. That's still a good scenario.
Something has got to be done about our useless roleplayers not limited to luc mbah, Ryan Anderson. We can't have a 6 man rotation come playoffs again
@Nook i don’t consider Anderson for bazemore realistic Bazemore is a good player on a slightly overpaid contract. The hawks are hoping to get something for him not dump him
https://basketball.realgm.com/wiret...Acting-With-Urgency-Trading-For-Kawhi-Leonard The Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs are reportedly slow-playing their negotiations on a trade involving Kawhi Leonard. "The Lakers have not acted with great urgency," said Adrian Wojnarowski. LeBron James may have to commit to the Lakers without an assurance that they will sign or trade for another star.
Bazemore is more than slightly over paid but he is a useful player that makes the rotation. I don’t think it would be a straight up Anderson for Bazemore deal. The Rockets would have to include draft picks. That type of swap is best case scenario in my opinion.
imo: 1. Lebron will not tolerate going to a team with just Cousins on one leg, and kids. 2. He tries to play Pop and Bufford to get them to trade Kawhi for peanuts. It won't work well. 3. By the end of the season, under Lebron's supreme GM leadership, all the Laker's assets will be squandered which is the best. Especially capspace. Much better to waste it now on mediocre players like post achilles Cousins instead of keeping it for next season when Butler will be available. Hence I hope very much to see the Lakers signing players right now. Even Kawhi..my guess is that after tasting the fun that will be playing wtih Lebron in LA he may bolt as a UFA.
ryno becomes a useful expiring asset after this coming season.. unless it's 2nd rd picks, i wouldn't attach draft picks just to get a player like bazemore. rather just take it up the a$$ with ryno one more season.
Yeah she is very fat... so are a lot of people. I don’t care that she is fat. It just bothers me that she is no more than an unapologetic Lakers homer that reports whatever her buddy Jeanie Buss wants her to. All she ever wants to discuss is the Lakers. At least Windhorst will discuss something other than LeBron if given a chance... not Ramona.
if you know you wouldn't win anything anyway, would you rather play with Westbrook or with Lebron James?
Honestly, it depends on how useful you think Bazemore is for the Rockets compared to Anderson. FWIW I don’t buy the idea that Anderson has any positive value when he has an expiring contract. Right now Carmelo is an expiring contract and is he in anyway useful or valuable. Time will tell.
Play with Westbrook, get paid more, lose, blame on Russell Play with Lebron, get paid less, lose, blame Paul George
Do I care about scoring? If I don’t care about scoring or my stats, give me Westbrook. I can just stand at the 3 point line and set picks for Westbrook to not use all game long. If I care about my stats, I put up with the fact LeBron James is basically a mob boss and play off of him.
its not just WB vs LeBron IMO its OKC being able to pay you more vs the Lakers and maybe more importantly for George - he can play well or bad next to WB and WB will get all the blame if they do not do well. With LeBron its his teammates that generally get the blame from the media and not LeBron. I do not think George wants the heat from fans from his hometown. Also nothing to back this assumption up but I do think PG wanted to be the star attraction in LA. With LeBron there it would have never happened.
