I'm probably in the minority but I want Lonzo to stay with the Lakers and play with LeBron. There is no doubt in my mind Lavar would seriously irritate LeBron and the potential for fireworks is huge. I would get out some popcorn and enjoy the drama and distraction during the season. I want Lavar to shut up and go away as much as anyone, but the thought of him getting under LeBron's skin is too delicious.

Chris Broussard was on Colin Coward's show, he speculated that, most probably, this was leaked out by Lonzo' father, to discourage other teams who need a PG (such as the Sun) to make a trade for Lonzo. Colin'd not rule it out. this was Friday, Lonzo's father had gotten wind that LBJ was coming to the LAL; thus, Lonzo is disposable. all things being equal, LAL would much prefer LeBron handling the ball.
Love that Big Baller logic. Let’s fake a news story so Zo doesn’t get traded. Ironically antics like that are the exact reason the Lakers should trade him away... ...but no one wants to have to deal with Lavar, so they can’t trade him. What a crazy pickle the Lakers got themselves into on draft day last year haha.
The Rockets should keep in touch with the Lakers as a potential trade partner. At some point, LeBron may pressure them to trade young guys for vets. If so, I would love to get my hands on Lonzo Ball at the cost of, say, Eric Gordon in some sort of trade package.
Getting Lonzo Ball will require taking Lavar Ball off their hands, AND the signing of the other two younger Balls. I guess you'll get lots of balls.
Remember when CP signed with the Rockets people were asking whether there would be enough balls to go around? Well, this is one way to answer that question.
