Interesting how this twitter thread looks at how the different major news medias are reporting on the story...

Everything is a false narrative to BTG Cop kills someone on camera people protest about it and to him it's a false narrative why they are protesting.

I think the press should have called out to trump to talk about tax cuts or foxconn... and then hit him up for a comment about Maryland.

I like her sentiments, but to be very fair and honest: the media, at least some substantial segments of it, is also a big part of dividing communities. You don't get clicks and reads and page refreshes by bringing people together, sad to say. You make ad revenue by making people really angry and afraid of one another.

If it's not clear: no, I don't think anyone is justified in physically attacking the media, and yes, they are a total scapegoat (or willing accomplice, in effect) to certain politicians of great present day power.

So what you are saying is that race is a the only factor you take into account when judging these situations? I guess that doesn’t make you a racist — it makes you an absolute racist.

I can agree here. I'd suggest trump reaching out to the media, the entire media, not just fox and breitbart, and attempt to lessen the anger between the two. Perhaps having press conference in person. The arrival of a new director of comms might make the timing right.

Yeah, the media is a huge problem run by bloodthirsty degenerates. Vultures. Nothing to do with right or left, they are equally at fault for being driven by sales generating content than truth related content. The amount of pettiness for a supposed professional org is also absurd , if you can avoid the media, do so at all costs. They contribute nothing positive other than filling empty minds with fearful thoughts.

It's these type of blunt statements with no nuance andassive generalizations that are dangerous and dumb.

Pretending like problems dont exist leads to situations deteriorating into bedlam.

You got sensitive real fast. If you said black people are involved in a high percentage of homicides, involving other black people, you'd be pointing out a matter-of-fact demographic issue. Let me break down how dumb you reacted.

    1. You responded by asking "why do black people shoot cops?" By your own admission, you responded as "an absolute racist" comment. Nice!
    2. The point you responded with isn't even a correct statistic. Whites have been involved in more cop killings in the last decade. gj x2
    3. You responding with that question = you had to deflect immediately and emotionally rather than address the question. Why are you so sensitive to it? Isn't a conservative like you supposed to not care about political correctness and not get your panties in a wad so fast?

Get in the faces of these journalists at the restaurants, the gas stations, draw a crowd and you get in their faces and tell them their fake news is not welcome here !

It's funny that expressing your concern to a GOVERNMENT official who ACTUALLY MAKES POLICY in person if you by chance see them somehow means...

    attack journalists.

No, I would say "the media is the enemy of the people" is a FAR more dangerous phrase especially when it is shouted out repeatedly from the word's most powerful man.

Libertarians are losing their principles. Government officials are more infallible than journalists today by self professed libertarians. Ironic isn't it?

I think we should protest news that is political biased and that is a problem in this country. I'm not saying cause harm, but instead of that there should be protests against the bias. Maybe the news media may reflect on that . And I'm for removing all media political bias whether it's fox or CNN ...both have abundant evidence of political bias. It is wrong to have that ...my question to you is what news is politically unbiased ? It's tough to find

I think the news is a big problem in his country because we all see the unfair coverage. If the news would be more fair maybe there could be more civility but I'm off the tangent of the purpose of the thread so I'll end it there

    Two short irrefutable facts:

    1. Time Warner owns CNN.
    2. From 1999–2016, Time Warner is Hillary Clinton's 8th largest donor.Sen. Hillary Clinton: Campaign Finance/Money - Top Donors - Senator Career | OpenSecrets
CNN is strongly biased against conservatism, the Republican Party and hell-bent determined on bringing down President Trump.

One only has to watch CNN for a short amount of time to witness all the Trump-bashing. The viewership of CNN and MSNBC have both increased lately and most experts attribute that to the "Trump Factor". Lately, even admitted known lefty propaganda portal MSNBC has led CNN in ratings and viewership but both significantly trail possibly the penultimate target of extreme liberal derision, Fox News.

A quick and easy Google search will show numerous retractions, layoffs, suspensions and even firings of CNN reporters that the network has been forced to make in its overzealous quest of the liberal democrat Holy Grail of proof of Trump/Russia collusion during the 2016 presidential race.

Will CNN ever be able to shed its “FAKE NEWS” stigma? I tend to doubt that can happen any time soon. CNN has lost its mind, reputation, objectivity, credibility, and ratings. At least on this front President Trump has won “YUGELY”-LOL

Why do you think Trump doesn't deserve "bashing"?

Provide nuance besides the 6 degrees of separation game .

If anything CNN does this silly thing where they have a ridiculous Trump supporter debate a liberal for clickbait because it usually ends up in two people shouting at each other. In terms of their coverage of Trump I don't see anything that isn't deserved. I mean, We have a dude who doesn't even know the difference between life and health insurance managing the world's largest bureaucracy. He's an absurd parody of what liberals have claimed up right wingers for a decade now(dumb, lacks nuance in policy details, brash, hot headed, thin skinned etc).

He deserves every bit of his criticism. In fact I'm surprised CNN isn't hammering other scandals if Trump like his daughter having her trademarks accepted in China a day before Trump magically decides he wants to save jobs for a a Chinese company ZTE who has been expressed by the DOD as a threat to US consumers and national security through spyware and has violated US sanctions.

CNN isn't quality news, not because of bias, bu rather because of their desire for ratings pushes them to do stupid debates between pundits instead of hard journalism for most of the day.
