Thats such bs. No one who can impact the roster besides probably 1 random nba player will do that. Golden state has attempted this . A vast majority of the time these signings turn out to be bad and not work. Who are these vets lining up to fill half a roster with minimum that could provide actual impact other than their over the hill name only

LeBron James is arguably the best basketball player ever. He is the best player in the NBA and has shown the ability to take on a load in the playoffs that no one else has. So the Lakers are advancing with just him, to at least the second round even if no one else comes.

Having said that, of course someone else that is a star is joining him and I am not convinced that the Lakers will have to give up Kouzma in a trade for James.
