I checked on Gawd Tater’s twitter looking for some Lebron info. Seems he has been reduced to pages of “is Kanter opting in”. How the mighty Tater has entered a famine.
He said a few days ago he didn't want to reveal what he's heard on LeBron because his Rocket followers would get upset I believe.
Where are our insiders? @cyberx @Codman @ch44 Guys I have fought with my wife over this free agency period. You are the only humans who can provide some stability in my life w these discussions. Please help for my sake
The fact that LA is so frantically searching for a way to land Lenorad tells you all you need to know. There isn’t any sort of for sure Deal in place for lebron. Do the right thing Spurs, Trade that boy east.
Seems to me the Spurs are going to trade Kwahi during this window while they have maximum leverage with the Lakers. But it's also just as likely they trade him to the Sixers or the Celtics. Sixers and Celtics can easily beat any Ingram + Kuzma type offer if they want. The problem is they have to risk Kwahi leaving next summer. So they won't want to fully pony up. Thankfully the Lakers can't draft. Imagine if they drafted Tatum instead of Ball, Kwahi would be a Laker now and LeBron in 2 days.
Maybe because he follows the Knicks? I don't understand what you're getting at. The guy was only involved in the Melo Rockets rumors was because....again Melo was on the Knicks. If you didnt pick this up then I don't know what to tell you. The Knicks are in no way involved with the LeBron rumors.
@Codman checks in when he can, he’s busy with his day to day dealings . Anytime @cyberx post what he’s hearing and it doesn’t line up to what some of these fools on here wanna hear they attack him. Smh. I actually never see any of @ch44 post....
i don’t think we’re that far from the same opinion, and we’re getting off track here. My point is that the opt in with intention to remain in Cleveland doesn’t make much sense when it shuts the door on the Lakers, where opting out gives them ample time to assemble a roster he would sign up for. In my opinion, logic dictates that extra 300k to LeBron’s salary next year would not be enough of a needle mover to artificially remove the Lakers scenario when there is a potential path to Kawhi/LeBron. I think it’s much more likely he doesn’t want to refuse the Rockets without the assurance that the Lakers will field a competitive team with him next year.
This is more for laughs than anything. But do not underestimate the power of Gawd Tato! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cb...rsue-lebron-james-this-summer-per-report/amp/
