If Nigeria's coach bothered to put on a striker that isn't trash in front of goal or had the sense to make a sub in the 70th minute (Iwobi) and bring on a defender when Aguero was subbed in then who knows. Either way Argentina fans better hope Messi "keeps that same energy" for Saturday because France won't be as forgiving as Nigeria was. Giroud, Griezmann and Mbappe won't be as wasteful. Deschamps for all his failures won't be as stupid with his subs. And most importantly....Sampaoli will still be there with his lovefest for Meza, Perez and Higuain while Pavon waits to get on the pitch and Dybala gets rooted to the bench. He got lucky in that Caballero made the GK switch decision easy for him and he had no choice but to put on Armani. Cocaine is a helluva drug. I'm disappointed Argentina pulled it out. They absolutely do not deserve to be there. I'd like to think France is going to roll them...but it's not like France is playing well. Can't just turn on the switch. It doesn't work like that in a tournament like this.
