    Just tuned in to this award show. Terrible. These awards should be given out during home games at halfcourt, not in front of a bunch of over-dressed stiffs politely clapping and forcing laughter at bad jokes.

    We Rocket fans have been so lucky to have had both Dikembe and Yao. Both are the salt of the earth with their charitable philanthropy. So glad they got to be teammates and have gotten to know each other so well. Somethings are just meant to be and those two collaborating with great minds to help the world was just one of them. Miss those guys.

    Voting for the NBA awards really should just be held back until after the playoffs, since you can play up to an additional 30% more games if you get to the Finals. It would probably cost Harden an MVP but at least the awards wouldn't be considered a national joke. Toronto just fired a coach who won COY lol.

    Plus this way you'd have actual intrigue for this show and it would be more like the Oscars -- and they're clearly trying to emulate that format.
