SI Obtains Lakers Script for Apparent Paul George Pitch The NBA free agency frenzy starts on July 1 and teams are gearing up to pitch several high profile free agents. One of those potential free agents is Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George, who can opt out of his $20.7 million contract, but must do so by Friday. The Los Angeles Lakers are among those teams thought to be vying for George's services. A recruiting pitch was leaked to SI.com's Robin Lundberg and it is in form of a voiceover the Lakers plan on using with video. The person recruited to do the voiceover was told that it should be "less Morgan Freeman/Denzel Washington, and more Jamie Foxx"? The pitch entitled "Two Dreams" makes hints about who the pitch is for. The text reads: When you were just a kid In your room Dreaming from Palmdale We were dreaming too. While you dreamt, we built - built for your arrival And while we dreamt, you built too Becoming one of the world's greatest. Life's most powerful dream are the one we realize ourselves. The ones that turn us into legends. That kid from Palmdale always knew it Now the world will, too Of course, George grew up in Palmdale, Calif. and played his college ball at Fresno State. George, 28, averaged 21.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 79 games this season for the Thunder.
I fully expect LeBron and Paul George to end up in LA. I will only be surprised if that is not the outcome. I am sure Morey has his backup plan waiting. Where will he be on midnite July 1st? Who will he target?
Cynic says this was leaked to pretend there will be a "pitch" when we all know PG is already set to go there.
All this no pitch meetings let’s me know: 1. LBJ has his eyes set on two teams 2. Family heavily invested in his decision 3. He knows the landscape well
If Lebron wants to join Paul George after the latter's left knee arthroscopic surgery in May 18, I'm fine with that.
Things get very interesting once PG decides what to do. IMO, he is the domino unless LeBron doesn't care who joins him in L.A.
Additional comments: I do feel that George will bolt OKC after Melo picked up his 27.9 M option. The Rockets don't need Paul George in my opinion.

I think this is a pretty good point, actually. And on the flip side, people in LA can't shut their stupid mouths. If LeBron to LA was done, it would have leaked already.
Yes. He 100% already knows what team he wants to join. For me it is very simple: Opts in: Houston, Spurs, Celtics, Cavs Opts out: Lakers or 76ers
My gut feeling, is that Chris Paul wants to play with Lebron, preferably in Houston. I don't think Chris is keen on playing with Paul George, or Kawhi Leonard.
