So let me get this straight, OP post about a publicly elected US Representative calling for violence against people because they have different political beliefs and you guys call the OP out? Some of you guys are really F’d up. OP is dead on, sooner or later someone is going to confront a political figure with harassment or worse, with violence and they are going to push back. This is not what we or this country needs. Sooner or later the Democrats will be in charge again and I’m pretty sure none of you want elected republican officials calling for public harassment against them. The beauty of our system is that if you don’t like the system you get a chance to vote out those in charge every 4 years. Harassing people until physical confrontations start breaking out is not the way.
Civil war no but they do want to sew civil discourse. It will only get worse leading up to the midterms. If there is not a "blue wave" in November there is no telling how bad they will get.
