PBS has brought back the conservative William F Buckley's crossfre. Yesterday they had a cute young female host, don't know if she is permanent. So yesterday's guest was John Kasich. He is very pratical. Midwestern states like Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin seem to really be competitive for votes between Republicans and Democrats. I have personal experience working with people from those states as well as Illinois in a former corporate job. Wisconsin people were extremely nice, My company was based in Green Bay. I worked with some people from Columbus Ohio and they are the only white people ive ever considered racist but really they were just a holes. Kasich seemed like a genuinely really good person who just wants to solve problems. Ohio where he is governor has a balanced budget amendment. He said you can't get that nationally because no politician wants to limit the money they can give out to keep everyone happy. He was a Senator when the federal government balanced the budget under Clinton.
Another very reasonable Republican. Mitch Daniels I love watching the host but she has very good guests and is smart
