Gordon to Philly for #8 is an interesting IMO. I would think we would do this AFTER finding out that we were out on Lebron. Obviously our best shot will be the next 2-3 seasons. There might be something to be said about having someone that could help at the end of this year and then really start to grow as CP ages. The rookie deal could run alongside Harden/CP/Capela and help out in that sense. I do like Porter Jr. and would do Gordon+Future first if he ended up being there.

Cleveland has the #8. Do you mean the #10?

Am I the only one that thinks this smells like a potential 3 or 4 team trade if true? Something like:
Rockets out: Gordon & Anderson plus picks plus other minor contracts
    Rockets in: Lebron

    Cleveland out: Lebron
Cleveland In: picks plus Qi plus ?

team x in: ryan anderson plus?

Something along these lines if this rumor is true.

It could mean any number of things. It could also mean Steve Kyler is pulling this out of his ass. Given the source, I'm leaning towards the latter.

That would be a pretty steep price to pay for EGo for Philly. Not too sure why they would do that trade. He would be a JJ Redick replacement at a lower price, but it's not a bargain price.

Eric Gordon to the Wizards for #15? Wizards then trade Bradley Beal this summer to appease John Wall and try to form some kind of chemistry on their team.

the only teams with cap space to absorb gordon (our only trade chip) in the mid-lotto are chicago and philly.

the bulls make no sense for gordon, but he's actually a really good fit for the sixers as better and cheaper redick.

i don't think he's worth the #10 by himself. after all lou williams was traded for a low FRP to us. i wonder if they would take gordon and a future first for #10? if morey is confident he can sign a 3rd scorer to replace ego (like evans, barton, or gay) with the MLE, a trade like this might be a good idea.

I think the Wizards are gonna trade Wall to appease Beal.

Wall is on the decline and his contract is going to look like Blake Griffin's here soon. Beal is the superior player.

Eric Gordon was really injury prone this season, he missed a lot of regular season games, his knees, legs are a concern shooting long 3 pointers. The problem is replacing his Shooting, maybe Trae Young can make a impact, I am not sure if Trae is ready, his stamina, strength, leading off the bench scoring and passing.

Doesn't Morey OFTEN try and set a market value for his players by offering them for first round picks? Whether on draft day or near the trade deadline

Whether he gets knocked back or not, he uses the value artificially created (hey, Player XXX almost got traded for a first) to trade the player later on.

Clippers have extra picks in the lottery, maybe a impact guy falls in that slot.

They gave Beal a 5 year extension not too long before that, too. Washington would be dumb to go forward with Wall over Beal.
