Eh, she ain't starving and Houston's restaurant scene will be fine with or without her business being there, so it's all in good fun. Internet going to internet. It's actually going to be pretty good PR. People will be curious and come try it with an open mind, if I know Houstonians.

This is petty to the max but also hilarious. Although I bet in the end it does more good than harm to her new restaurant in the form of positive press.

As if people needed ANOTHER reason the hate Rockets fans.

Good grief people, grow up. People also posted negative reviews about NOBU because it’s co owned by Robert DeNiro. Actual famous people finally trying to expand to Houston and this is how they’re treated?

Aside from not being a smart business decision to bring this to Houston. They’re missing on the obvious play on “Curry” in the name and food. Leave the bbq to us

Generally, I agree. But a millionaire woman is opening a restaurant in a hostile market -- it's a vanity project and she'll be totally fine! She could not work. She could focus on her Bay Area restaurant. She could open restaurants in a billion places other than Houston. She's getting some petty yelp reviews, and everyone knows yelp reviews are suspect, at best.

It's the internet and writing a yelp review is not "attacking" a family, IMO. If someone firebombs the restaurant, let's revisit this. Cheers.

Some of you need to lighten up. If the food is good, the business will succeed. A few funny reviews before the place has even opened is not going to affect anything.

Fair enough...but actually, opening a restaurant in Houston is a smart business decision. Fattest city in the country, right? :)

Give me a break. Have you ever tried parking at City Centre on the weekend? If her restaurant folds, something else will quickly replace it. If you work in the service industry in H-Town, you can find a job. You're in no way dependent on someone like Ayesha Curry investing in the local economy.

I'm still more mad at the Rockets than anything else. I mean...0-for-27. Come on, man!

I'm going to open a bar named "0-for-27" in Houston...where we can all drown our sorrows.

We don't want trash "celebrity" endorsed mediocre and overpriced food and drink establishments in our culinary destination city.

Having said that... if your're a local boy done good, billionaire, local team owner I'll allow it.
