I guess when the FBI lets Strzok back in that he will be no longer "disgraced" and just "maligned by the right wing echo chamber".

It would not surprise me, if Trump personally directs the FBI to fire Strzok, for his lack of a priori loyalty.

There are probably FBI department rules and regs saying that employees can not use their FBI issued phones for personal use. This might get the employee a letter in his file and perhaps a short suspension without pay. And since Trump is President, he might get fired.

The fix was in and you all know it. It is truly surreal that some of you are defending this outrageous corruption of our justice system under Barack Obama, which led to inappropriately giving Hillary Clinton a "get out of jail" card.

We cannot heal and unify as a nation as long as these sorts of blatant double standards are supported and enabled by one of our two major parties. This corruption must be rooted out. The people that are guilty must be held to account, even up to and including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Now, someone respond by lying through your teeth and insisting that there was no corruption of the DOJ and the FBI here, no scandal on Obama's watch, and that no high ranking Democrats were given a free pass as a result of political favoritism during this episode.

Come on you liars. Do it.

Sure there is bias everywhere including the FBI. You and I are both biased. The problem is when your bias leads to action. Did you even see the text between Page and Stzrok?

Strzok saying they will stop it goes way beyond bias and suggest action. All of that is still under investigation. The truth will come out. There are a lot of people either quitting or being fired in the DOJ and FBI due to all of this. There is a reason for that.

And an investigation from Trump appointed Justice Department officials conclude that the statement was in jest with no tangible actions taken.

You are stating nothing more than wishful conjecture that supports your preconcieved narrative. The IG report states the opposite.

Are you really this dense? The IG report was about the Clinton e-mail investigation. It had nothing to do with the Trump investigation. All of that is yet to come. Also, you might want to actually read the IG report rather than just the summary.

The FBI arm of the deep state is so diabolical. Their agents, with such strong opinions about the two candidates, set in motion a devious scheme to aid one of the two candidates that worked so well that one candidate won. Here's the really clever part... they helped the candidate that most people thought was the target/victim of their actions. And in doing so, tricked him into colluding with Russians, engage in emolument violations and laundered money. Then tricked them into hiding what they did and then lying about what they did. Wow... that is super diabolical. No wonder they are part of a deep state.

Interesting whataboutism question... Manafort is accused of collaboration with Russia (including their interference with the 2016 election), illegal lobbying, conspiracy against the U.S., conspiracy to launder money, numerous financial violations, and false statement. And... the charge that revoked his bail... witness tampering and obstruction of justice.

Stztrok is accused of texting mean things about trump.

    Yea... same thing...

I can accommodate you. I don't see that any crime has been committed. My understanding from the IG report, was that Strzok's behavior gave the appearance of impropriety but that they couldn't say that he did anything inappropriate. And, the appearance of impropriety seems to have centered around opposition to Trump, not support for Hillary Clinton. But, I understand Strzok is involved in some disciplinary process right now. He did use department assets from private uses and thereby embarrassed the FBI and hurt its credibility. He should be disciplined, up to and including termination. "Outrageous corruption" and "get out of jail card" is ridiculous though. I can grant evidence of 'a biased state of mind' (though I take his strong anti-Trump stance as one a law enforcement officer would take when he's trying to catch a slippery mob boss), but without evidence of actually inappropriate actions, there isn't any case. But, just like the FBI can run a review process with an HR lens as they seem to be doing now, they can also run a criminal investigation. And Trump's man Wray is the guy in charge. I don't think he's corrupted in Trump's favor, but there's certainly no reason to think he's part of the Comey-McCabe cabal either. If he brings charges against Strzok, so be it. If he doesn't bring charges, that will be a pretty convincing indicator that no outrageous corruption was afoot.

One thing I'd add, you'd want the FBI to be apoliitical and not put their thumb on the scale with elections in the balance. They came up short in that regard in 2016, and in both directions. However, usually presidential candidates don't put them in this position. Shame on Hillary Clinton for creating an appearance of impropriety that necessitated FBI investigation. Shame on Donald Trump for doing the same. They both deserve all the trouble they've caused themselves. It is small wonder that the FBI would be a factor in a presidential election when both presidential candidates believe the rules don't apply to them. Run somebody clean.

It's just like with OJ Simpson, you might think he did something wrong, but he was found not-guilty thus he didn't brutally murder his wife and Ron Goldman.....even if it might appear as if he did.

To our friends on the fringes of the left, that's enough for them to declare innocence when it's something they want to believe.

It's incredible, isn't it? Jaw-dropping. But that's 2018 in America, brought to you by some sort of mind-meld of Philip K Dick and Cormac McCarthy.

You're the liar here, you don't even seem to realize that the "one of our two major parties" with double standards is the Republicans.

    Weak sauce, rookie, try again.

Translation: "The only way this country can heal and unify is by prosecuting all the prominent politicians that I disagree with! PS anyone who disagrees with me is a liar, also why can't we all just get along?"

Your posts reek of some kind of underlying anger issue by the way.

To be fair, that's a psychology that afflicts all of humanity. If Trump avoids impeachment, Republicans will take it as proof that he did nothing wrong in the first place. If he is impeached, Democrats will take it as proof that the investigation was never politically motivated.
