snell is pretty damn good. i don't know what they were expecting when you bench tuve and have white and jake at 8th and 9th. then marwin gets stupidly tossed. plus yuli at third has been bad defensively.

it's just weird to bench the mvp against a lefty in a middle of a 12 game win streak, but this game is far from over. keep it to a 1 run game and you have the heart of the order coming up. and romo sucks if they decide to let him close again

 

I just wish they'd let guys settle into roles. So Rondon's your closer now? Great! Why pitch him in the 7th and send him back out for the 8th? Why not Giles or Devo or Peacock?

Hinch and Luhnow have said that this is how the bullpen will be used, so I guess I'm gonna get used to it.

 

If Springer slides right and Yuli doesn't GIDP then we've got 3 runs on the board at least.

 

This is more hinch than it is luhnow. Luhnow may give him more restrictions of pitch count but the usage situations are all on hinch and I dont ****ing get it.

Anyone complaining about Hinch benching Altuve is way too caught up in the winning streak. I want to win this 13th game in a row just as much as anyone else, but it makes all the sense in the world to give Altuve his first true game off of the season. I’ll gladly give him a few of these rest days in order to keep him a little more fresh for October.

How far do your condescending comments usually go? Also it can vary from game to game. It's not 100% controlled because of how large the stadium is. Outdoor air pressure can still affect the field.

snell has pitched in 15 games. 12 of them he's allowed 2 ER or less, and 2 of those games where he's allowed more than 2 ER were against the yankees. he has a 2.48 ERA and a 3.51 SIERA. so why are you expecting 3 runs or more with this lineup? lol
