Without a doubt. He swings at **** and then watches beach balls down the middle. Thats why, on the whole, he is slightly behind his expected numbers. He is too talented not to work it out though. I think he will tear it up from here out.
I have no doubts that he is gonna snap out of it but I hate seeing it because he's ridiculously talented.
Marwin didn't like the SO calls last two at bats at the plate, vented to the home plate ump and I guess the ump had enough and tossed him. Calls were 50/50'ish I would say
I can't believe this is the first time Marwin's been tossed this year for arguing balls and strikes. He does it constantly. eta: yall wanted Kemp in the game, yall got Kemp in the game
Verlander at 97 pitches, bottom of the order coming up for TB. If the score stays as it is do you bring him back out? I sure as hell do.
The pitch was a strike. Marwin extremely predictably argued it as he always does. Then he threw his helmet and bat like a child and got tossed, and I'm glad he did. I get tired of his b****ing when he strikes out. That said, this is some of the absolute worst ball and strike calling I've ever seen. Verlander's face after each clear strike was called a ball was just getting more and more perturbed. He's good enough to beat two simultaneous opponents at the plate, though. Does anyone know if the on-screen balls and strikes are automatic or if the pitches are placed there by an actual person? Todd and Geoff seemed pretty incredulous each time one of those super obvious Verlander strikes showed up outside the on-screen zone.
