Over 600 members of Jeff Sessions' church sign formal complaint against him



Over 600 members of the United Methodist Church have signed a formal complaint against Attorney General Jeff Sessions for “chargeable offenses” in the church this week.

The letter levels four specific charges against Mr. Sessions: child abuse, immorality, racial discrimination, and dissemination of doctrines contrary to United Methodist Church doctrine.

Three of the charges are based on Mr. Sessions’ “advocacy for and implementation of
” the administration’s zero-tolerance immigration policy.

The complaint cited the attorney general’s use of Romans 13 in the Bible to justify the family separation policy

“in stark contrast” to the church’s commitment to “supporting freedom of conscience and resistance to unjust laws.”​

They are putting kids at ports legally seeking asylum into cages as well. Also arriving at and crossing the border is a misdemeanor it should not be used as a reason to separate families. 91% of the kids in lock up are from first time misdemeanor parents They are not criminals. and finally these children should not be used as a bargaining chip so that trump gets his useless wall.

Just to be clear who we are talking about. These are people who knowingly broke our laws then, once they got caught, tried to exploit our asylum laws at the expense of people who need asylum and go through the legal process to get it. These are assholes. And while they are acting like assholes we give them food, water, shelter, AC, TV, and medical treatment. These parents shouldn't be glorified and they don't deserve your sympathy. Also at any point these assholes can actually go back to their home country with their kids.
