You're not sure because you surely want to be difficult.

That's an old joke going way back: don't ever hire an Aggie in HR because next thing you know you'll have an office full of 'em.

Would anyone do JB Bukauskas for Britton straight up?

I would. I hear his stock is tanking, may be worth trading him for whatever value is still left. Pitching prospects are stacked (Whitley, Martin, Perez), and a dominant lefty late-innings guy would be great for our team.

He's been hurt, throwing bp sessions again now. Still would have to think hard about that.

Now if you said Martes (who is shut down for another month at least) for Britton, I'd be all over that.

Bukauskas pick I didn't like at the time when he was selected, Bukauskas is a Closer, Forrest Whitley I knew he was a star

Wow. Now I'm really glad we traded him.

There are prescription drugs that can take care of this I'm sure.

Can't be true, Luhnow just sits all around getting congratulated and doesn't do any work.

He may end up on the DL soon - shoulder strain from patting himself on the back.

Unless Bukauskas' injury has long term implications, I pass. That's mostly due to concerns about Britton though. So far, he's thrown 3 innings, walked as many as he struck out, and his fastball is averaging almost 2.5 mph less than it was the last time it was good. Since he throws it 90% of the time, I'd want to see some sustained success with it at that velocity (or him regaining velocity). The Astros are a good enough team, with enough assets that they don't need to be focusing on reclaimation projects
