Ah but I told you about Senegal. Morocco and Nigeria were disappointments but I expected Senegal to get out the group and definitely still do. I think they are better than Nigeria and Morocco.

The American broadcast team is awful -- the woman sounds like a bored Mary Carillo.

The Russian girls in the stands are looking lovely for today's match!

Tryna compete with the Croatian, Brazilian and Colombian chicks. Not bad Russian girls, not bad at all.

Are you watching it in English...on Fox?
I believe the broadcast team is two guys. John Strong and Stu Holden.

I doubt that everyone could be a pharao, most of them were brick laying servants.

Envious, Russia is playing like a Semi champ, Germany like.

Well, I don't think anyone expected a +7 goal differential for Russia after the first two games. Barring Uruguay going all-out Team Strike Force against Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Russia has a great shot to win the group.

Egypt lost control of the game after the first goal. Couldn't keep their composure.

Meh. Really hoped for Spain v Egypt in the next round, but the way the Egyptians defended in the second half, they've show that they are clearly not a top 16 team. Russia is neither, but that's another story.

We don't know the exact condition and playing Salah against a Ramos-type defender in Diego Godín could've gone terribly wrong.

Senegal now has the best chances among the African teams, that's for sure. Maybe I overvalued Poland and their Bundesliga connection, but they should be better than that for sure. Senegal v Japan will be interesting, looking forward to this.

Must be some quality stuff the Russians are taking.

They look to be in excellent physical shape with plenty of stamina.

And the stamina of that 38 year old to hang on with the youngsters...

    Quality stuff for sure.

Forgot to look at their roster before the WC, they are loaded with players that are playing important roles for quality Euro teams.
With that level of talent they can beat a lot of the competition and advance to the quarters at least, given the right opponents.

Pretty brutal, ref faster than Kimmich and Kroos on the counter that lead to the 0:1.
Kroos also not really giving a fukk and just half-heartedly attempting to flick the ball from Lozano just before the goal, could've easily blocked the ball if he had sprinted instead of jogging.

Also shows how Özil is one of the only Germans actually trying on defense, sad how the playmaker is the guy having to play defense in Germany's box.
