Sure Lebron is focusing on LA specially with a possibility of Kawhi joining. This alone will get any FAs attention.

The issue is if Spurs willing to trade with Lakers. Kawhi wants the city of LA not Lakers for definite answer.

Clippers with Jerry West may be able to pull a rug under everyone. He maybe able to get Kawhi via trade.

It would be a masterpiece if LeBron could convince the Cavs to trade lebron for Ryno plus picks.

Uh, I would say the Chris Paul injury was a pretty unfavorable bounce, thus CP NOT getting injured would be the favorable bounce. So yes, we still need a favorable bounce.

You can say that if you wish. I certainly won't stop you.

That's impossible because you have to send out equivalent salary or close to equivalent salary. LeBron will be making $35.6 million next year if he opts-in, Ryan Anderson will be making around $20 million next season which means you need to include more guys to make the contracts work.

I think the absolute best case scenario for the Rockets is Anderson and Gordon plus picks. Which ultimately is a swap of Gordon for LeBron. We would need to find a guard off the bench from somewhere after that, I was hoping Llull might finally step up to the plate for a few seasons.

If we can’t do the opt in route, we have to renounce everybody to sign Lebron, that’s my understanding at least...

I think we'd have to renounce every free agent and trade away players without taking back salary to sign him. It's just not possible to get him if he's a free agent on July 1 in my opinion.

I suggest if you don't know about it already looking up the Locked on Rockets podcast with @The Cat . A lot of the questions I see here over and over again, are answered and explained.

Whats the point of peddling out completely unfounded claims, claims that directly contradict a multitude of reports? Sure, and LeBron could force a trade to the Milwaukee Bucks or CP3 could retire...can we please bring the discussion back into the realm of realistic and whats actually been reported?

There have now been multiple reports from ESPN, here, and other places that CP3 is coming back to the Rockets. For you to start an entire idea with CP3 on another team is just a waste of time.

I just don't understand why you ignore basic facts and proceed as if the opposite was true.

Renouncing every free agent cap hold we have would be the dumbest thing the Rockets can do this summer outside of .....well...I don't know what.

I don't need Popeye's on Tuesdays but if the opportunity presents itself I'd be stupid not to complete that transaction.

Honestly, I'm starting to think CP3 staying healthy next post season would be a favorable bounce.

Healthy CP3 is all we needed to win the crown. But Lebron is a hell of an insurance policy.

We'll know in 10 days whether he's in the cards.

I doubt LeBron is looking at Kawhi to the Lakers as a realistic destination. Its very very well known that Pop is unwilling to deal Kawhi to a western conference team and its been reported by more than one individual.

I think its LeBron & Paul George on the Lakers at best, and that team doesn't even touch Golden State. LeBron would end up having to shoulder the load like he just did.
