Rockets can’t afford to let CP3 walk, period

Morey knew what the deal was when he traded for CP3 last summer

letting him walk without bringing in a player that’s at least around his level means you’re just wasting Harden’s time here, and the Rockets aren’t bringing in a suitable CP3 replacement this summer

Expecting Chris Broussard to do anything other than spout off lazy, uneducated analysis is setting yourself up for disappointment.

    A1. Worcestershire. Ketchup. Heinz.

Don't be a fool. Broussard has sauces.

The Rockets had better do everything they can to keep Paul here. Especially if they want to win with Hardhead.

Awesome. So we'll have another season of great play followed by another post-season crapfest of injured CP3...per the norm. Wonderful. Will Dan-Tony actually rest him a week or 2 before the post season so he won't eff himself up? Probably not.

I'll summarize it for anyone who can't listen: I've heard good things about CP staying. Which I said here, and others have as well. But odds are good. (And it shouldn't take a genius to figure out why.)

The reason the LeBron/Kinkaid rumor on Friday was interesting is because there's intel out there about CP's kids attending that school as well. Doesn't prove anything, and I do think LeBron is also doing his "due diligence" on LA and Philly as well (and possibly others). But I do think it shows HOU is very much still in the mix, which is better than the way NBA Twitter and aggregation sites made things seem last week.

IMO, I think it's good for the Rockets if things stay quiet through Thursday. Once Friday gets here, the Rockets are free to deal their 2019 1st, which opens up a lot more doors (both LeBron and others).

Ha. I really appreciate it, don't get me wrong. :) Just don't want to be *that guy* who holds out on people that are too busy to listen.

But yeah, hopefully there's other good content worthy of listening for those who have time!

Hoping to have more content later in the week from @BimaThug's draft war room... wink.

Not sure what the Rockets are planning but the one of the top priorities should be to resign CP3. I know his injury history and all that, but with him we pushed the warriors to 7 games. If he stayed healthy and finished that series, I don't think any Rockets fan doubts that we could've beat that and went to the finals. I know his health is a MAJOR IF. Our whole goal was to push the warriors and beat them, and we ALMOST did that with CP3. Unless there is plans to get all the other free agent super stars, we need to resign him or else we will be wasting Harden's prime.

I think someone said this long ago, i forgot who, but if we arent going to compete with GS then we might as well rebuild and be ready for when they die out. The Rockets org has made it clear they are going to compete at any cost. So even if we sign CP3 to the max and risk his injury, i say lets risk it. Better to have competed rather than to "sit" and "wait" for our time.

There's some risks we gotta take, i say this is one of them. Im not saying we absolutely need CP3 to win because there could be other things in play but i guess we just need to see how the summer unfolds.

Take this to the bank: The Rockets have zero problem giving CP3 the max.

Ppl listen to Colin Cowherd, Chris Broussard, and Skip way too much. Does anyone realize that all those guys work in the LA market?? Of course they’re bias. What media memeber wouldn't want to be part of the night life in LA when/if the Lakers become relevant again. The national media is tired of the CLE, OKC, SA, POR, UTAH, and even HOU to some extent continue to get all the shine while LA and NY stay irrelevant. Don’t listen to anything you hear unless it’s coming from the sources mouth.
