Great... what evidence does anyone have that Peter & Lisa actually tried to keep Trump from getting elected?

The FISA warrant right??... Yeah the FISA warrant on Carter Page... the same Carter Page that is a self proclaimed adviser to the Kremlin. FYI... yes texting this on an FBI phone was beyond stupid, and Robert Mueller was right to remove Peter from the investigation months ago when he initially found out.

That being said... FBI agents are people, and are allowed to have political opinions. They just can't show bias in an active investigation they have any involvement in. Anyone from the Right have a problem with the FBI out of Rudy Giuliani's office in the NY having political opinions?

So again.... evidence of wrongdoing. Where is it before we claim that the fix was in. And Mueller should be praised for making sure that his investigation and the integrity of the FBI is kept in check.

Pretty much a non-story and credit to Mueller.

 

If you had agents saying the same about the Democrat candidate for president and those agents are the top investigators into Trump who decide to let him go despite evidence of crimes and then immediately start investigating the Democrat candidate who beat Trump looking for some kind of way to take them down......would you think the same?

By this logic Obama himself got Trump elected since he knew what was going on with Russia, yet kept getting infront of cameras and saying with 100% certainty that the election was fair and there was no rigging going on.

As to your question, it doesn't. Its showing how awful the FBI is with leaks.

 

If it weren't for leaks Comey wouldn't have publicly announced reopening the investigation. I still don't see how this relates to a bias against Trump. The leaks helped him by placing doubt on Hillary.

Its not a crime to dislike Trump, in fact its quite common.

 

Strzok sounds a lot like me -- like a guy genuinely concerned that the President committed serious crimes. Seems reasonable. Now, I do agree that he and Page showed a lack of professionalism having these conversations about personal misgivings on company devices. Comey had the complementary problem, conducting official (but non-classified) business with private email. I don't know why these government employees can't figure this out. I don't have any problems separating my work communication from my personal communication. But, for Strzok/Page, I think that's the extent of it. It's okay and completely understandable that FBI agents would hate Trump. I'm not concerned that their personal feelings impacted the investigation in light of the fact the IG says there is no evidence that it did. If IG found them to have committed acts and then used these statements to show motivation, that'd be a whole other ball of wax.

I am interested in this angle that the FBI didn't turn over these texts to Congress earlier. But, I can't find a good treatment of it in the press. Is there an admonishment for this in the IG Report? Anyone with a good link, hook me up.

The part that's new is this particular text message was withheld from being seen buy the Congressional committee investigating this. i.e. a Coverup
