From what I read, their lawyers cooperated like they are supposed to, and suddenly Mueller got nervous about that.

Maybe Mueller thinks that the defendant lawyers are acting in bad faith.

Gosh, that must have really caught him off guard, after dealing with criminals for decades. Why can't everyone just be honest, gosh darn it!

I also wonder if some of the evidence is considered a national security risk they don't want to get into the hands of Russian intelligence?

Literally a totalitarian system taking advantage of one that includes defendant rights.

If only the GRU and the CIA acted in good faith and transparently, if only.

Come on, man. They're still saying some of the JFK assassination files are a "national security risk." That's a catch-all excuse that works every single damn time.

Yea... I I guess if the Russians really wanted the info they could always get it from their embedded agent with the orange skin...

I'm not saying Mueller's concerns are not legitimate. But we do have this due process thing here. And, my non-lawyer understanding of how it works included the idea that defendants got to see all the same evidence that prosecutors saw. Now maybe it is okay to have wrinkles in the general process for defendants who won't set foot on US soil and I wouldn't know. But, there is probably some legal answer, and not something that starts with national security or presumptions of faithless dealings. I'm not too keen to sacrifice principles of due process. Maybe that's not what is at stake here at all though.

Well, there's nothing to debate, I suppose. The president of the United States seems to have had several crooks in his inner circle. That much is clear, fairly spin-proof.

The witness tampering, to me, is pretty shocking though. I mean, Jeebus. I picture the nun from the Sound of Music singing: breeeeak every statuuuute, taaake every pleeeeea.

    [Educational Post]
Show me the man and I'll find you the crime -- Lavrentiy Beria (Joseph Stalin's former spy chief)

We are witnessing an ugly, partisan, political persecution here -- going after Trump's inner circle not to investigate alleged crimes, but rather to investigate the person in hopes of FINDING a crime. That's thuggish behavior and it's a complete and total abuse of the legal system. This is being done purely to torment Trump and try to concoct a reason to overthrow the duly elected President. It's sad how low these unscrupulous partisans can stoop at the expense of our country. Utterly diminishing their credibility and tossing reason out the window in favor of hostile emotions... all the while debasing our legal system.

Meanwhile DONALD THE STRONG continues to advance peace and prosperity at home and abroad -- and is doing an amazing job.

    GOOD DAY

I miss these non "educational post(s)" like these. I am not sure what to call your propensity to give nicknames. "Donald the Strong" "Hildebeast" "Snobama" So astoundingly educating Mr. Jorge.

The politics of hope? Hardly. Obama knows he's about to get exposed for his radical associations and his wife's racism.

McCain has been cleared of all wrongdoing in the Keating incident. Snobama, on the other hand, was directly responsible for partnering with ACORN to sue banks (using racial extortion) to encourage lending to subprime borrowers... and he showed zero leadership on the financial crisis. The guy is just in over his head and too inexperienced to lead our nation during these times. I don't trust him, and I'm a financial expert.

A ridiculous story and perfectly emblematic of the fraud that is the Hillaroid Clinton foreign policy experience, although not quite as much of a story of the legendary crash and burn of Obama's campaign.

Just think how sad Obama's foreign policy cred is when he loses the foreign policy experience battle to a lady who travels around and has tea with dignitaries.

Like I've said on numerous occasions, this is just a sad sack lib field this year. Obama is naive, inexperienced, corrupt and he honors racists and bigots. Hillary is a lying, power hungry bitsch and the most divisive figure in politics today. Great work this year libs!

It's called SOLID Republican states who hate Hillaroid. Those were votes against Hildebeast, not votes for Snobama.

And how many people voted in the Dem primaries in those states? 100 collectively?

    What a joke...
