    Wouldn't have a lot of competition to be the best out of The Woodlands. Lance Blanks, who was part of the BMW Scoring Machine at UT in the 89-90 season and then played for the Pistons and Spurs is the only one I can think of. There might've been one more but I cannot remember his name.

    True, at least for basketball. I suspect if you widen the area to include Atastacita HS and surrounding areas. But football has had some good players including Danny Amendola and Daniel Lasco. And baseball too...Kyle Drabek and Paul Goldschmidt (but my understanding he didn't start at TWHS and was not happy there). My wife worked as a preschool teacher with Goldschmidt's mom.

    Also Larry Izzo in football. Jameson Tallion (#2 pick by the Pirates in 2011 draft). Back in the day, my friend Kevin Beirne had cups of coffee with a few different MLB teams as a pitcher after being a starting WR for TAMU. And to a lesser extent, Rusty Pierce who had a long career in the MLS.
