It sounds more like his opinion rather than him having any inside information about LeBron not wanting to play there.
It helps to listen sometimes. He said LeBron doesn't fit the roster and that it's not feasible under the rules to get him. In other words, an opinion based on two clearly ignorant statements.
Why couldn't he win titles here? The media will follow him. He doesn't care about that narrative. It's not like he gets exactly fair treatment from the media as it is.
Still think it's the longest of long shots but BimaThug, aelliott, PotatoHead, Larry Laker, ESPN, everyone under the sun laid out ways to get it done. (No, don't confuse me for saying it would get done or it would be easy or he's coming here...) What does he mean not feasible under the rules?
Not feasible under the rules? Opt-in and trade (or S&T) for Gordon/Tucker/Nene/Qi/Onuakua + two 1st What's not feasible about that under the rules? I think that would be a do-able offer for the Cavs, especially if the only other choices are Lebron walks to Philly or Lakers for nothing...
Apparently the media believes Lebron is a seamless fit with Ben Simmons and Lonzo Ball but cannot possibly play with James Harden or Chris Paul
I’m betting he will inform the Cavs he “intends” to opt-out and enter FA. Not necessarily bad news for the Rockets as he can still opt-in at the deadline a la CP3 and orchestrate a trade. But him “informing” them he will opt-out is just a formality.
If this is legit, this could be good news for the Rockets. Chris Paul had the exact same meeting with Clippers management last year just days before he was traded here.
