I love Tony Kemp hitting 9th on this team. What does whatever happens a few innings from now have to do with anything? I thought we were talking about what actually happened, not some fanciful future bullshit.
Kemp has been a huge difference maker to get this offense jumping from the bottom of the order since he's been called up.
Maybe it’s just not fair to ever expect Keuchel to be his old self again. Maybe this is the new normal. But against a better team than the Rangers, I just don’t think you can count on him.
I agree that I dont think he'll ever be 2015 Keuchel again I think he can still creep back to being a solid 3rd starter. He isn't getting as much break on his pitches as he used to but his soft contact has actually worked against him alot this year which is really unlucky
He's made 1 terrible pitch to Choo. The rest has been seeing eye stuff and 1 passed ball and 1 shiftf**k single that cost him 2 runs. But yeah, his breaking ball is not consistently sharp at all recently.
