LeBron, Chris Paul, and the young Laker pups aren't beating the Warriors. I'm sure LeBron will do his due diligence on every scenario, but unless he could somehow lure Durant, the LeBron + second max slot scenario in LA isn't getting it done in the next year or two.

(And even if LeBron were to take the Lakers seriously, I'm pretty confident Magic would push back hard for a younger PG and not CP to be the second max slot, given that PG is much more likely to be in peak form in 2-3 years -- i.e. when the Laker pups are actually ready to contend.)

Yes. Press conference with MDA and DM.

CP3 is not going anywhere. He was helping the Rockets recruit others last year (Iggy recruitment). Telling them Rockets are the most transparent organization he has seen. I think he actually came in and started running the presentation if I remember right.

He still has his house out there, I think it might be an easier transition than some might think. I doubt he’s dumb enough to leave a team that won 65 games and was 1 game away from the finals.... but nothing in the NBA shocks me anymore.

CP3 isn’t going anywhere unless Morey gives him an insulting offer on his next contract

Which can happen, example: D Wade with the Heat. That being said, don’t think Tillman/Morey would do that. CP will get the Max, hopefully he accepts 4 years so he doesn’t potentially handicap us in the future.

Since I like to listen to basketball podcasts I've heard Windhorst numerous times on various ESPN baseball shows like Lowe Post. My feel on him is that regardless of whether or not he has actual sauces, he never actually divulges anything of interest about LeBron. He just makes very generic statements that feels like insider info but in reality stuff that are pretty obvious if you use some common sense. This is why he never actually "breaks" any LeBron news. His job is simply to be LeBron's PR guy. He's vastly overrated when it comes to LeBron insider stuff but he's also underrated as a reporter in general. He can be insightful regarding rest of the NBA but regarding LeBron he slobs like a dog.

Whenever LeBron makes his decision, Windhorst will be the guy 2 minutes earlier tweeting out how LeBron is still thinking things over and mulling his options carefully and methodically.

    CP3/Harden/Bron/Capela

Is great but what about the rest of the roster. It isn’t worth Bron to come here if we lose guys like Tuck, Ariza, Luc, even Green. We need depth to compete.

The Warriors are riding with Curry, Durant, Draymond, Klay, Iggy and pieces like Livingston, Looney, Bell, Swaggy P, Mccaw, McGee, West, Zaza.

We would ride with Harden, Paul, Lebron, Capela, PJ, Ariza and pieces like Luc, Gerald and probably a couple of decent veterans that would sign here for the minimum. Good chance we also get DeAndre during the season if (big "if" maybe) he gets bought out.

    We would be fine.

It was reported that CP, LeBron, and Carmelo all had already agreed to come to Houston if the Rockets were able to get Melo during last offseason.

Obviously that didn't pan out, but it shows the seeds had already been planted.

If we miss out on Lebron and PG, how would you guys feel in creating a package for Kevin Love? Not sure what we’d have to give up for him but if Morey can work his magic then why not?

Well that’s simply not true, at least from a reputable source.
