The Philàdelphia Eagle player holding the sign about how many black men are incarcerated daily needs to be asked do you think these guys are innocent. The ghetto is an uninviting place for real reasons.

Most domestic crime is usually same race. However black on black crime is usually random and based on proximity

    LOL

A President came up with a way to let people unfairly jailed out of prison and regain their life back and Libtards still find a way to cry and throw rage fits like a toddler.

    Unhinged

You all should be more focused on the potentially thousands of lives that may benefit from this. Otherwise, your mind is just about as sick as those who hope NK talks fail because they would rather see Trump fail then millions of lives benefiting.

I don't really think so. The complaint isn't that they are innocent, but that we have erected a system that targets black men for legal persecution. The laws are written for it, the policing is structured for it, the courts and geared for it. The rights we elect to give ourselves control for it. Their innocence in the eyes of the law is irrelevant if you believe the law to be corrupt.

    That's not what's happening here.

I agree with you somewhat but I think he thinks as well as other activists that they are

Plenty educated blacks further believe that blacks go to jail for the free labor. You know the work programs that actually let prisoners out of their cells for a while.

I'm like, they aren't building Fords in prison

In other words, we should oppose anything this admin does just like the MSM and Pelosi.

I would say he has given me many, many reasons to distrust him and suspect his motives. He has also set himself a reputation for maximizing his self-interest. So when he does something seemingly magnanimous, it's only natural to wonder what's his angle. And, when you see the angle, there is absolutely no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt.

A broken clock is right twice a day. Sometimes, Trump is going to do things that are right because his self-interest happens to correspond with the nation's interest. There is no reason to oppose him on those things. I'm happy for Ms. Johnson and even D'Souza (though he expressed no humility or repentence) to get some relief. But, I can see things will be taking an ugly turn here. He's weaponizing the pardon.

You're the kind of person who would have signed up cash in hand for Trump University.

if you are serious about criminal justice reform, you don't start with a pardon of black on one hand, and loudly broadcast for police brutality and support for white supremacy on the other hand. But this play well for his supporters. Got to give him credit for that. He knows his audience.

You're the kind of person who I would consider giving a bit extra on your Christmas bonus if you exceeded my expectations during the past year.

No, just the stupid things like eschewing civil rights in general and empowering bigots specifically and then using pardon power for political purposes.

Trump likes making deals if it ends up with more people liking him. If these celebs care at all about reforming the justice system they wouldn't have used peer pressure to stop that dude who just got out of prison from going to the discussion on reform.

Talk about preferring hate over progress, that is a great example. If the democrats kissed Trump's ass they could make him the greatest Dem president of all time and pass all sorts of crappy laws.

I laid out the reason this gesture doesn't make sense. Do you disagree?

Are you OK with how trump has been using pardons?

When some wild-eyed, six-foot-tall orange maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the Mar-a-Lago wall, looks you crooked in the eye, and asks you if you paid your dues; you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yes sir, the steaks are in the mail."

probably it's better applauding Trump's gestures/decisions and go along with whatever he does, that's how his diehards supporters will give up on him

"stop bashing them for protesting the killings of unarmed African American men, women and children by police"

This was you justifying their mass protests over what is essentially a non-issue due to how incredibly rare legitimate cases are.

I did not say this. I did not imply this. Not even close.

    Stop lying.
