What is so difficult to grasp that an opinion is not fact? Thinking it does not make it true. LOL

 

Thus my use of the word think. I hold this opinion I support with evidence. Equating my opinion that drugs are bad to an opinion that enslaving humans is good is where you went completely off the rails. bobby was saying no one thinks this lady should be in jail. I was telling him he was wrong.

I base this on facts and evidence. Your slavery argument fails completely. People generally try to change laws based on their idea of what laws should be.

 

So where was your justification after the statement I THINK? That SINGLE statement without justification makes if falacious.
That is completely different than.... "I think lane splitting on motorcycles is good and should be legal BECAUSE X"

Instead of saying "I do" I gave WHY I think that as well. It in no way makes that opinion fallacious or equivalent to being in favor of slavery.

I do BECAUSE I THINK doing drugs is wrong and should be illegal.

 

If Trump was clever he'd use this to get rid of Sessions. Talk about how it opened his eyes how many people are in prison for stuff like this, then go on a legalizing mar1juana tour...he'd gain a lot more followers doing that. Public opinion on that is like above 60% IIRC?

Sounds like he's already inching towards legalizing weed (or just letting it remain a state's decision)...but it is Trump, he may change his mind on that next week.
