The plan is to trade Anderson, Gordon + 1st round picks for LeBron after he opts in. Cp3 max contract plays no role in that.
Yes, I am not 100% firm on it but there are options to extend it out and other windows. I don't have the details. I think for us it is closed because unlike Melo he is not going to give us forever to get the Ryno deal done. I think we have that part worked out with Sac or someone like that and can put the deal in motion immediately after the draft because we regain control of our 2019 pick and beyond. That gives us 3 1sts to deal and I believe ultimately that will be the price for LBJ. Two to ship Ryno unless Cle just wants the assets or we can work a bigger trade. Morey has all the scenarios, we just have to see which one pans out. This was his #1 task and he knew this had to go down quickly. LBJ or PG13 or Codman Big 4+2 alternative in that order.

What if LeBron opts in then dan Gilbert doesn't decide to trade him..hold him hostage in Cleveland I could see him doing that seems like the type of person that would try to do something like that.
