    I remember the days when they actually announced the MVP while the playoffs were still going on - remember '95 when Hakeem ate David Robinson for lunch right after the league had announced that Robinson was the MVP? Too bad that everything has to be a big production including who gets what awards these days.

    Funny how Harden is so disrespected by the fans and media, yet his peers, the people that know how great he is, show him the UTMOST respect for him. Not only once but TWICE. This should mean more than the actual MVP, sad that it doesn't atm.

    I guarantee he does not care about the players mvp. When he wins the actual mvp it will be a big deal.

    Regular mvp is the oscars, while players mvp is Nickelodeon kids choice or mtv movie awards.
