    His supporters in Texas don't care - even the ones whose homes were flooded.

    I'm on a Kingwood bbs where many of the members houses flooded and they're looking at this as another example of the media trying to take Trump down. Seriously. These fools are still talking about Hillary's emails.

    What I find flabbergasting, is how folks can actually see and hear Trump make these comments and still give him a pass. For example, a news story where Trump said he could pardon himself and there is video of him saying it. Trump supporter - "Fake News!!!"

    Often, when I see a Trump supporter being asked about a Trump lie or something outrageous, the answer is, "Well, (something) Hillary (something)...."

    I'm guessing (hard to tell with Trump), that if you look at the entirety of the quote AND realize Trump is a terrible speaker AND change the punctuation around, what he meant to say is "For whatever reason, 16,000 people were watching the hurricane from their boats".

    Now the absurdity remains, but it takes away the idea of why do people live in Texas.
