Asked and answered a thousand times. It's your standard trope. Next you'll ask what happens if you switch Harden and Curry... again. Then you'll ask some other dumb hypothetical.
Plus we didn't have LMAM... who basically played the same number of games and mpg as Iggy did in the regular season at least. Not that I think he's the player Iggy is, but just noting that he was also very important. He wasn't just absent, he was a troublesome negative. The Rockets lost game 1 by 13... LMAM was a -14
Chirp... so you're still asking dumb questions? Does Harden play great or much worse in the playoffs? Do the Rockets lose series where they are the higher seed or better team as often as not? But... fine, I'll take your bait. Let's say you're right, and the only superstar that would get the Rockets further is Lebron. What do you propose the Rockets do if Lebron doesn't join the team?
**** man... how did I not see that dumbazz question coming. I'll write it down for next time. To answer your random useless question, I'm REALLY complaining about the Rafer Alston trade. I thought DM could have gotten MUCH more than Kyle Lowry... I mean dude was a bench guy, clearly!! And had he gotten more for Alston, he would have gotten more than Kyle Lowry, and he could have then turned that into something EVEN MORE than James Harden. Maybe EVEN Lebron James from Miami!!! You got me bro!
I agree with a lot of that but I just get tired of most of the media hating on him for his defense and when he goes in a shooting slump weather he cares enough or is dedicated but as soon as any other super star slumps its his ankle is sore or they haven't been playing together long enough to build chemistry or any of the other thousand excuses that they give them. I just think that maybe besides Lebron Harden is the second most important player to his team in the N.B.A. His defense was much improved this year and hopefully he picks another aspect of his game to the next level next year to get us over the weak minded Warriors.
I hate stupid threads like this. Btching about harden's skill and questioning if he really can lead us. What can u do when the most stacked team in teh west (durant and sht) is blocking your path to glory, the wwe nba refs are out for u and your running mate goes down right at the 2 yard line. Honestly i'm pretty sure no one could have won against the warriors in harden's position at 3-2, except maybe lbj in game 6/7. Harden's game might piss you off, but they still managed to push the game to 7 with him leading the charge.
Nothing to do with hate. Just analysis. I’ve presented facts. You’ve come into a thread where you knew what was happening to purposefully annoy yourself? Or did you want to try and argue that Hardens stats and performances didn’t have their normal statistically significant playoff drop??
dude harden is not about stats, he has a gravity and intangibles regular numbers can not even begin to measure
you also forgot to take into account the Harden Rule introduced this season harden led cp3 and capela would go 82-0 on the league were it not for that small intervention of adam silver
I've said this multiple times already. This thread is about the playoffs. All 17 games. When Harden WAS NOT great, and his performance dropped, in both a statistically meaningful way and per the eye test, regular to the relative season, AGAIN, more than his contemporaries. lol I definitely can't control the rules. They are what they are. But I don't think most of the NBA viewing public is saying "man, that Harden sure gets shafted on the fouls!! it's so unfair for him!!"... quite the opposite, really.
Complaining about a man's playoff performance but yet he somehow managed to make it into the conference final and pushed the warriors to 7. Btch just gotta btch I guess. I'm sorry he isn't flashy enough for u. The man fill up the stat sheet pretty efficiently.
