    Github is already too expensive for enterprise, maybe Microsoft can come up with a better pricing model.

    Can't get worse.

    It's like a hosting platform for code and open source projects. It also has very robust collaboration tools, it supports many programming languages.
    If you are an HTML website creator, you would have come across github pages.
    Bootstrap for example is hosted on GitHub.
