Kanye West - Ye (Album)

Thought it was dope. There are several moments that make me think I’m listening to the old Ye.

 

My least favorite kanye album. Not enough catchy tunes or bangers. Decent production still, but the lyrical content was not interesting to me. It's not a bad album, just not as good as any of his previous albums.

 

Lyrically it's solid, sonically it's really weak. This is coming from someone who owns all of Kanye's albums. Doesn't even come close musically to any previous TCD, LR, Graduation, 808s, MBDTF, Yeezus, TLOP, ...

You want a damn good album that's produced by Kanye... check out Pusha T's Daytona which was released the week before Ye. After hearing Daytona and then hearing Ye you can tell which album Kanye spent time on and which one he didn't.

Then you obviously don't know how to enjoy music. In that sense Beethoven, Bach and Prokofiev are weak because their compositions are best appreciated loud as ****. Take that fake musical connoisseur **** the **** outta here lol
