    Since you can’t read...

For dumbass that don’t get it, the president cannot pardon himself in a functional democracy. But if he does as he claims he have the absolute power to, and congress doesn’t do anything about it, we no longer have a functional democracy.

The president has always had the power to pardon himself for non impeachable crimes....you just didn't know enough about this functional democracy to know that before now. You only have yourself to blame.

So me explaining to you something that you were clearly ignorant about makes me a Trump supporter? LOL you crazy kid. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you act like this?

If Trump ran as a Democrat, you'd have voted for him....and you'd support every move he made. It's just how it works.

Yes, the facts are the facts....and you were clearly ignorant as to them, which honestly is a recurring problem with you. You seem to be very much against facts in favor of narrative.

I almost did too, if the Democrats had picked almost anyone else, I would have. Instead I didn't vote at all for the first time in my adult life. The Republicans picked a joke of a candidate, the Democrats picked a criminal, and the Libertarian party picked a joke of a candidate. There was simply no one to vote for.

Depends on the crime....and people don't "think" it, that's what the constitution says. Presidents have always had the power to pardon themselves when it comes to non-impeachable offenses.

The power to pardon oneself as President is a topic that has yet to be challenged and legal scholars with any reputation will say that it wouid need to be tested in the courts and ultimately the Supreme Court would have to decide because the Constitution obviously isn’t clear about the topic. (Most likely because the founding fathers never would have imagined it would be an issue because we’d never be dumb enough to vote for someone like Trump).

But looks like the world renound scholar Booby has the answer Harvard and Yale scholars have been debating for decades.

Thank God we are blessed to be in the presence of such legal greatness.

Seriously though... the fact that the Constitution states “except for impeachment” in the pardon power tells me (not a lawyer like Booby FYI) that the Founding Fathers are just assuming that if there is a crime the president is entangled with that would need to be pardoned, he’d obviously be impeached.

The fatal flaw of the Constitution that the founding fathers failed to take into account seems pretty clear now. It’s a Congress that fails at its job in holding the executive branch accountable which is the core problem in this country that we have today.

There’s only one thing to interpret legally about the constitution: The president can do whatever the F he or she wants to as long as Congress will allow it.

in 2008 i registered as a democrat so i could vote in the primary against hillary. i voted for obama in the primary, but i never voted for him in the general election.

    i never voted for bill.

i detest the clintons. they are slimeballs of the highest degree. i even think chelsea is a scumbag.

in 2016 i actually voted for hillary.

thats how much i hate trump.

as for pardons, trump is testing the boundaries of our system of checks and balances and the legislative branch is lying down like scared cowards.

Amazing Trump could win when so many people did the same. My parents have voted Republican every Presidential election until they voted Hillary because of Trump. My brother and I voted Gary Johnson because we couldn't bring ourselves to vote Hillary.

I refuse to vote for a Republican while Trump is head of the party.

Started telling me how lucky I was that I’m witnessing the greatest presidency ever . I had a family member say I should thank trump for the start up I work for being purchased... It’s like they’ve been brainwashed.

Honestly. . . stories like these make me wonder about the actual numbers
IT's like no one knows anyone .. .or enough anyones that voted for him . . .to have captured victory
We just have FAITH that the Voting machines were untampered and the reporting is accurate
but we will never know for sure

Don't underestimate voting booth privacy and rage of people feeling, rightly or wrongly, left behind.
