tbh, jared dudley would be an interesting addition to a front office, he's clearly a cluey guy, and being an ex player helps a lot.

Even as three high usage players in an ideal offense there’d be more movement - just a little - and it’s be unstoppable.

In reality I’d expect not a ton of movement but they’re all so so good it’ll still be amazing.

If you can have those three and some how keep Capela then you will have the warriors shaking in their heels.

What if the warriors add PG?

I assume you're not being serious. The Warriors have to resign Durant and then worry about somehow hanging onto Looney, Young, Cook, West, McGee, and Zaza or finding suitable replacements for them.

No reason to worry about the role players when you have the opportunity to get stars.

They don't have the opportunity to get stars. They're capped out. They likely can't even afford to resign Looney. Unless they're prepared to do a trade including Klay or Draymond, how would Paul George wind up there?

    Long Summer for you. :)

I can see him taking a couple of days after FA starts to decide. I can also see him having a deal like CP3 were it is done a couple of days before FA opens up. Remember, nobody does anything till there is a deadline.

This news and reports CP3 won’t take any discount seem counterintuitive

Rich Paul as an advantage for the 76's?

I wonder if Griffin considered the other Paul....Chris Paul as an advantage for the Rockets supplying all of that said intel that Rich Paul would offer.

Griffin talking about coaches for 76ers, Spurs and LA....where is the MDA mention?

Does Griffin just not want LeBron going to the Rockets?

It's really not. Even if CP took a slight paycut and Ryan Anderson were moved tomorrow, the Rockets still wouldn't be anywhere close to having the room to offer LeBron a max contract.

The only realistic route for LeBron to get to Houston is via trade (same as CP last summer). And if we're talking trades, whether Chris Paul takes a discount or not isn't a part of the equation.

Exactly, there's absolutely no reason for CP3 to take a discount in any scenario. Any discount would just be saving the owner some money and would have no impact on the actual team. This is a complete non-story.

Cleveland will bend us over for any trade involving lebron, forcing us to swallow JR.

Why do people question this? Didn’t Harden take a backseat to Westbrook and Durant in OKC? Why would he have a problem playing with Lebron. If you can play with Westbrook you can play with anyone.

I think they’re already shaking. They got bailed out by an injury

He was MUCH younger back then, and certainly hadn't hit his stride as a Top 3 player back then. Apples and oranges.

Harden has been THE MAN for 5 plus years; Houston has been HIS team. That all changes if/when Lebron arrives. The best player on the planet will become alpha dog in Houston.

OKC is not the same comparison; he was never the man on that team. The pecking order was Durant, Westbrook and then him.

Harden has been the number one option every year in Houston - let’s hope he can officially take a “back seat” to win a ring if CP3 convinces his buddy.
