This is the rare giant turd game from the Astros. Their approach at the plate has been feeble, particularly by Altuve and Correa. The pitching out of the pen continues to be lousy. This is the third series in a row the Astros have fizzled away a chance to make headway in the AL against the best team. 60 games in and they are losing games they should win (one of the worst one run differential records in the league) and look generally flat.
Springer and Bregman with great ABs and Tuve swings at a pitch 6 inches off the plate. Haha. Just the way it goes sometimes. Day off should help

Lol dude you need to relax. Carlos is easily the best SS or 1A/1B with Lindor. Unless you want to count Manny as a SS since he went back to that position then it's debatable between the 3. I'd prob have Manny as #1 if so. If you mean he's having the 5th best season, then sure
Bullpen thoughts: Rondon, McHugh, Peacock, and Devenski are great relievers. Yes, they've all had bad moments, but nobody's perfect. Sipp has been outstanding against lefties. Smith has been shaky, I need to see more of him to have an opinion. Giles: Use him in save situations only. I'd add Brad Hand for a package centered around Alvarez and Bukauskas, taking Harris's spot. As for who closes in the postseason, we'll see. But the point is, the bullpen has been a real problem, we have fewer wins than expected, and we blew leads to the Indians, Yankees, and Red Sox, all teams that will make the playoffs as well.
I know you guys are disappointed but you still won 2 games out of 4 against the best team in baseball and you could have won Saturday night. Only last night did the game get away from you. I see the Astros overtaking the Mariners and winning the AL West and being in the ALCS, hopefully against my Red Sox.
Um... I believe the Astros are still the best team and will be the best team in baseball. Boston only has a lead in W-L due to small sample size

The Astros don't have a terrible bullpen. However I really question how good their pen is against the better offenses in the league.
