I remember a bunch of people on here crying bloody murder for what we have up for CP3.

The two scenarios have major differences that makes it highly doubtful the same price is required.

    1) we’re trading Ryno which is a net negative. Everyone in that CP3 package was a minor plus (dek, Montrez, etc), mid plus (bev) or major asset (1st round pick). Moving Ryno means having to move more assets just to get to a net zero package.

    2) clips weren’t hurting to relieve and shed salary the way CLE will be so their needs/wants are different. We don’t have what they need the way we had for the Clips so we have to include a 3rd or 4th team which drives up the price.

    3) our 1st round pick was worth more last year then it will be this year given how other teams will expect Us to perform especially if we’re adding lebron.

There's one thing you are leaving out of the equation and that's the players leverage over the current team - I'll opt in and you cant get something for getting me to where I want to go Or I opt out and you get nothing. Cleveland & OKC aren't in the drivers seat here - Lebron and PG13 are as they dictate what return those teams get. I think they can expect to get a first round pick (be it a late one or not) and getting out of the tax by not taking back any or limited salary.

Here's how I see it going down in a 3 team deal:

    Cleveland
    In - 1st round pick , Oanuaku
Out - Lebron , Korver ($42.5m off the books)

Team X with cap space -
In - Ryno , Gordon 2nd round pick (Gordon is the price for taking that bad contract who they can flip for a #1 at the deadline)
    Out - cap space

    Houston
    In Lebron , Korver
    Out - 1st round pick , 2nd round pick , Onuaku , Gordon , Ryno

There could be other moving parts like a 4th team getting Gordon sending a pick to team X for taking Ryno but this is in the neighborhood of what I expect to see.

CP3 had the same leverage last year too and the clips still got more.

I think it takes at least 2 firsts or the equivalent to move Ryno into cap space. Ego gets you one 1st round pick. We’d need to send another of our own.

Price for LBJ: cap relieve + 1st (maybe 2)
Price to move Ryno: Ego + 1st

Total Assets Required: Ego, 2 or 3 1st (even then it may take Tucker to put us over the top).

Wonding if these are strong recruiting tools:
•Loosing to GS and a laughing Draymond "Again"
•CP3 and Harden are great shot creators
•2 top 5 nba assist leaders on the same team
•CP3 is a banana boat brother
•CP3 is the godfather of your children
•CP3&Harden showed how to stagger the rock
•The spacing allows LBJ larger driving lanes
•Morey will find gems and shooters
    •HELP HELP AND HELP
    •7 games with GS
    •One injury away (CP3)
•Help your bro get his 1st ring
    •Chance at MULTIPLE RINGZ

If the NBA likes the idea of SUPER TEAM of the west vs YOUNG and upcoming superteam of the EAST then yeah maybe Lebron could move to the west and be with the rockets. BUT i really dont see it happening soon. Well atleast not this upcoming season.

According to Griffin, the Sixers have one edge when it comes to their free agency pitch to James this summer.

Speaking to Zach Gelb on CBS Sports Radio, Griffin weighed in on the constant LeBron to Philly buzz.

“I don’t know what boxes he would be checking," Griffin said. "I think staying in the East probably gives him the best chance to win a championship if he was going to leave Cleveland. Maybe staying in Cleveland gives him the best chance to get there, I don’t know. If I knew what boxes he was going to check, I’d have a better feel for it."

"I do think it is significant, though, that Rich Paul is the representative for Ben Simmons as well. So he’s going to know the organization very well, and I think that will certainly give them a leg up, because I know Brett Brown is somebody that you’re going to look at when you’re LeBron, and you’re going to look at Pop, you're going to look at the coach in LA … all the teams he’s went to, coaching is going to matter. And I think because Ben has intimate knowledge of Coach Brown, that will probably help.”

I have to think if the edge for philly here is Rich Paul and having a better understanding of the organization, that Chris Paul does the same for us but even better. Our Paul can offer a better look into the rockets than their Paul can into the Sixers.

Plus add Colangelo and all that, I feel confident upon closer inspection the rockets as a whole is hands down a better organization than most and definitely compared to the Sixers. That place isn’t a circus sometimes.

If that's your one advantage, it's a really shitty advantage to have.

All the teams have certain advantages (and disadvantages), if they didn't, he wouldn't consider them at all.

Philly? No way. Simmons is good but he can't shoot. Lebrons team has always been filling with shooters. JJ is the only shooter on that team.

Ryan Anderson is a ****ing laughing stock of the NBA.

When a scrub like CJ, who just came off an embarrassing sweep, is mocking you on twitter, you know you are done and dusted.

When I have basketball doubts I certainly turn to Jason McIntyre.

Damn, Jared Dudley holding it down strong! Our 12th man next year for sure in buyout. He has wanted to be a Rocket for years.
