Reddick can easily be a defensive liability against GS...no thanks

if you’re not playable against GS or will be a liability against them, then pass

(Re-sign Chris; If you get LerBon, great, he's your 3rd ball handler. Otherwise, would like another.)

    Mario Chalmers(UFA)
    Derrick Rose(UFA)
    Michael Carter-Williams(UFA)

    (Re-sign Gerald to the minimum.)

    JJ Redick(UFA)
    Tyreke Evans(UFA)
    Will Barton(UFA)
    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope(UFA)
    Wayne Ellington(UFA)
    Marco Belinelli(UFA)

    Jodie Meeks(PO)
    Arron Afflalo(UFA)

(Sign LerBon! ;) Re-sign Ariza & Luc. If you must have your stretch four/five(because elite floor spacing!), a few out there who don't cost $20 million. Ilyasova, Tolliver and cheaper options like Muscala, Babbitt, Frye & Speights.)

    LeBron James(PO)
    Paul George(PO)
    Trevor Ariza(UFA)
    Thaddeus Young(PO)
    Anthony Tolliver(UFA)

    Channing Frye(UFA)
    Vince Carter(UFA)
    Marreese Speights(UFA)

(Re-sign Clint; if you lose him, obviously will need to replace him. Rockets, like the Warriors, for whatever reason keep all these centers on the roster who don't play. Rockets don't need three backup centers but do preferably need a new backup center. Get rid of Nene, Black is a free agent and there's that Chinanu Onuaku guy.)

Probably not. Gallo got paid last summer, I'm sure Redick will look for 15 or so minimum.

    Right now my wishlist......

    Ball handler:

MCW - yea I know in the eyes of a lot of people on this board he sucks but can be had at the minimum and a 6’6” playmaker...... I like

Avery Bradley- very interesting but I’m sure out of our price range.....

Curry is interesting but I don’t think he’s looking to take a 3rd wheel type deal here....

    Wings:

Mario H. - we need athletic lottery tickets and some youth for the regular season grind.... plus I think there is a lot of untapped potential that can be found....

Tyreke Evans is very interesting but I don’t think we can afford him either...

Sneaky good pick up I think will be Jerami Grant.... super athletic, weak side shot blocking forward who has a decent shot..... I love the energy and almost anger that he plays with..... he’s the type of player I think we are missing and I think he would compliment Tucker very well......

As far as bigs if we could somehow get Cousins here to play the 4/backup 5 Omg..... I don’t see how we get beat.....

I don’t really care for any of the other bigs that are out there so I’d rather roll with our young guys Zhou/Hartenstein......

All this is if we can’t pull off Lebron of course....

Seth Curry is someone I wanted on the team for a long time. I think he will get paid more elsewhere, but he definitely deserves a spot in our rotation.

I love Luc, but if he is going to command the full MLE, I don't want him back. It's scary how terrible he looked in the playoffs. It's crazy, because I loved the Prince all season long, but him fading away in the playoffs, due to the shoulder injury, man I want no part of that is he is going to lose his confidence like that again. Is he ever going to be the player he was before? I don't know, but I rather not gamble that as perfect of a fit as he was this season. If he comes back for the min, I'm good with it.

    He still has rights

Don’t start thinking you are going to skirt around his rights just because he took a hiatus from the NBA for a short time. LoL

We need to up grade at SF... Wish Otto Porter was available.. We just need a wing that can semi-create ... a reliable 17ppg SF...The Joe Johnson of the Phoenix Suns days wouldve been perfect

Surprised no one has said Belinelli or Ellington. Did no one watch the Heat this year?

Wayne Ellington is probably the best 3 point shooter on the market and one of the best in the NBA, he was part of that great Heat defense albeit not their best defender but certainly solid.

Belinelli while not the best defender, has size and is instant offense and is clutch, can share roles at the 3 if we resign Ariza.

Ersan isn’t a bad choice either.

We missed a ton of 3’s this postseason, we need better shooting...

At 32 years old and with 14 seasons in the NBA, Ariza is likely heading to his last big contract. Despite his Game 7 struggles, he was a key to the Rockets’ style, from their 3-point shooting to their improved defense. That also will make him a coveted free agent, offering the added bonus of being a model pro that teams would want in their locker room. The Rockets feel the same way about all of this and Ariza will likely prefer to stay in Houston. More than the higher-priced free agents, Ariza could be the test of how much the Rockets will spend to keep the team together. Mbah a Moute and Green did not get a great deal of interest last summer. Mbah a Moute especially will likely cost more than a veteran minimum but the taxpayer mid-level exception should be enough if the bidding gets that high. If they can keep Mbah a Moute with a veteran’s minimum contract, they can spend their mid-level elsewhere, having hit the jackpot with P.J. Tucker last summer.

I mentioned Bellineli as well in another thread, just dont rmr which one lol.

Both would be good pickups in this offseason if they can be had for cheap.

What’s the deal with Rodney Hood? He was great in Utah but isn’t playing for the Cavs. He’s a good shooter at 6’8”. Seems like the Cabs could use his talent. I’d definitely roll the dice on him or sign Will Barton. Not sure Aaron Gordan is doable since he’ll demand a large contract.

Just my 2 vents but Ariza needs to be replaced as a starter. I would package him in a trade or see if he signs for the vet minimum. I liked what I saw from Luc considering he signed on the cheat but he’s injury prone and that’s too risky.

I assume Ariza is returning …. they have bird rights on him so he doesn't really affect you financially because you are already over the cap - just further over the cap with him and you aren't going to get a better player with your options (Vet Min or MLE).

I haven’t watched Belinelli in a min.... can he create his own shot? Or atleast passably create his own shot?

I like his shooting touch. He can also put the ball on the floor, and create his own shot. He is a UFA. A fit and fairly athletic 30 year old, who has gotten better with experience.
