the stepback 3 should only be reserved for key moments and clutch moments. harden needs to develop an otherwise go-to move, like hakeem's dreamshake. he needs an easier more high percentage less tiring shot to use as his bread & butter, and i think it has to be the in between midrange shot. maybe CP3 can help him perfect it.

Results matter but there is a huge element of variance involved so you cannot reverse judge your process entirely from it. Beating the warriors 5-2 with harden and paul this season is also a result btw.

Literally every team in history didn’t jack up this many threes. None of them took the KD warriors to 7 either.

I agree we need to incorporate more options and unpredictability into our offense. But for year 1 of harden paul I think we certainly exceeded expectations.

Outside of his threes harden was 10-16 from the rest of the field. That was more efficient then Durant and Curry.

The reality is no one on the warriors could stop him at scoring when he was attacking the rim. What’s perplexing is you resort to jacking up threes when clearly you can score at will by attacking the rim.

His shot selection is a issue. He is our best player and easily a top 5 player but it is inexcusable to be shooting 10-16 from the rest of the field but still be jacking up 13 threes

They play him for the shot, that is part of why he is able to attack the rim so well. But i agree he needs to adjust in situations like this where they are overplaying the three. We were getting wide open layups at the end, that’s how stuck to the three point line defenders were
