echos what the majority here have been saying The NBA Just Stole a Championship from the Houston Rockets https://thesportspost.com/nba-steals-finals-houston-rockets/
Yeah. It was rigged. I’m a lot older than I was during the Mavericks vs Rockets rigging. I’m done with the NBA.
Those 2 3s they hit on the blatant moving screens that weren’t called was about as egregious as it got for me. And don’t underestimate how much of a morale killer that can be, leading to the offense just unraveling. My interest in the NBA definitely dropped considerably this season, especially after the Astros won but I still followed them through the playoffs—yet I always had this nauseating feeling that nothing literally would keep GSW from making it to the finals because reasons or whatever. I so badly wanted to hope it wouldn’t go down that all too familiar path but alas. It’s hard to stay engaged in a sport where the same 2 teams keep winning. How is that good business for the other 29 or so fanbases? I don’t understand why they’re so adverse to parity. Either way, the predictability coupled with the awful officiating is enough for me to call it. Maybe I’ll watch next season if we are in the playoffs and GS isn’t, but until then thank god for the Astros. There’s a lot less of a human element there with potential to ruin games.
doesn't prove anything. you must of just woke up and saw that instead of actually watching the game in its entirety to see what happened @FearTheBeardJH
That doesn't mean ****! Watch the whole game and see how the referees take away points from Houston and give opportunities to GS. Seriously, I don't know how some people can be ok with this game. We were supposed to have home court advantage
sorry, stuff like this isn't a "bad call" gerald green made no contact with his hip on curry. this is clear contact tho the warriors fans who posted that was reaching on some of the "bad calls" on the warriors. not to mention the warriors were on the road so they shoulda got a less favorable whistle like the rockets got in game 6, while the rockets clearly got a complete hackjob by the refs in their own building,
No matter how atrocious the refs were, and trust me they were, it's always that one guy who says "can't blame the refs on this one". Dude did you NOT see the clips? That was rigging 101
Again. Comments like these are shallow & just baseless. We've shown we can win games while shooting the 3 poorly. It's not a big deal. But when you sacrifice almost 20pts at the expense of bad officiating, then you're in huge trouble. ESPECIALLY against a juggernaut like GS. The NBA is about momentum. When you get a 4pt play taken from you, two 3pt plays, countless other fouls & a goaltend that shouldn't have been called, the momentum will swing. This was the worst officiated game I've ever seen. We lost by 7 and got robbed of about 20pts. Do the math
