I said that and then immediately commented on the offseason so of course regardless of if it is or isn't, I'm going to talk about the offseason right away because its impossible not to. We all needed a minute to evaluate the success of this years team though. A great season with a bitter pill to swallow at the end.

    Onto the next one.

He dosent seem to be part of the "group" (Ariza, Harden, Cp3, Tucker, while i understand that someone like Capela would not hang out with veterans, one of your key veteran players ? ) he also dosent seem to emotional about anything, like he is professional about everything but not upbeat about anything, just my few cents, he probably thinks he can be bigger star elsewhere and get a huge (bigger) contract again instead being 3rd wheel and mainly a spot up shooter.

Yeah... I mean l followed that up with the notion that moving/waiving Ryno had to be circumstantial in nature when discussing. That's really the point I've been making. We just can't say that we're making this gigantic move of stretching Ryno over however many years, OR we are attaching God knows how many future picks to trade him, without knowing what is lined up to return back to the Rockets as a response to moving him.

The Rockets have options to move him IF NEEDED, but we should not move him just because he pisses everyone off when he does play. I'd hope Morey feels the same way as well. We should all rather just deal with him riding the bench next year instead of pushing for a move that has us feeling the ramifications for years and years (good players being drafted with our picks, or his stretched salary 4 years from now still hampering the cap) just because we wanted him gone to make us feel better.

I need to know EXACTLY what the Rockets are getting in return to see any value in moving Ryno at the cost it will ultimately bring to the Rockets for foreseeable future. Best way to get rid of him ASAP might be just to deal with him on the bench another year, and waive him the next offseason.

Actually YES. If it's not the Rox I won't watch and that is very different than what I used to do. I used to be full NBA TV and League Pass subscriber. Cancelled both a year and half ago.

It's more realistic than people thinking we're just going to find some idiots to take Ryno off our hands to help us land LeBron. You don't think we could have used Melo in game 7 instead of Ryno? Especially for those 20-40 games a season CP3 misses, if you can't find another star, you at least find someone who can score in ISO from mid range and 3. Melo has become some joke, but so does everyone who plays with Russ. As big of a joke as he was this season, he wasn't as worthless as Ryan Anderson.

Of course i want to dump Ryno by only losing a draft pick, and of course i want to get LeBron, but they're all pipe dreams.

The logical role Gordon would like would be the role of starting shooting guard in a contender.

The only place that could give him that right now is maybe Boston.....or MAYBE Philly.

EG realizes he's given the ultimate green light and is closing games out. He is pretty much a starter. Maybe Rox defensive scheme is tough on him defensively ?

Boston is about to have back Hayward, Brown or Tatum will start at the 3 unless they trade for Kawhi, no way Gordon starts in Boston, San Antonio and OKC are two teams where he would start.

Yea you're right, i went through that pretty quick without thinking about it. Those teams have nothing to offer us though lol. Idk,....Danny Green for Gordon....nah, i mean.....anyone on OKC?.......sheesh those are bad options to work with.

If he's willing to give up $30 MM, then it's possible . If we can trade Ryan + 2 first rounds for salary relief, the we can sign him to the max IF we renounce CP3 bird rights (meaning CP3 will need to sign for min). Basically to get Lebron, we'll need to trade away Anderson (no salary back) and have Lebron and CP3 willing to share $30mm.

Well, we might work on a sign & trade for George, even though i don't see Presti do that just because, well, you know...or trying to be involved in a trade for Leonard but yeah, we wouldn't get him anyway with EG and pieces, maybe if we add Clint and he agrees to get traded to the Spurs...maybe Butler asks for a trade this summer, i don't think he will but who knows.
