What was strange? The NBA wants Warriors/Cavs again, and that's what they got. Nothing strange at all about what happened.

I'm not seeing the tweet. What does it say?

And I agree with J Sizzle. It wasn't strange. Even Clutch pretty much threw his hands up in the air(metaphorically speaking) when Foster was announced as part of the officiating crew for Game 7. We all knew the fix was in.

imagine if the 3s were going in. foster would have gone super saiyan handing out technicals and ejecting our players.

So Donaghy's close relationship to Foster did nothing.

LOL @ everyone who pussyfootin' around the issue & doesn't want to call out the NBA, Adam Silver & their corrupt refs.

    "Well something was strange."
"Well we just didn't get some calls our way."
"Well this, well that, ya know..."

Doesn't even matter if they called him out. Adam Silver is not interested in changing anything, and the officiating will stay the same.

I heard the interview and Donaghy wouldn't say that the "fix" was in but he kept saying that the refs are made to watch video of what to look for, what to call and what not to call AND of course they are told to train on specific players. i.e. Harden. Donaghy was implying that you could call it a fix by the video mandates to the refs by the league but no one ACTUALLY ever says it but it's known and implied what the game plan is by the video training.

He also mentioned the JVG/league office leak to JVG with Yao years ago as an example.

This reminds me of my last ymca game that i coached. Refs swallowed their whistle in the 3rd and 4th quarter. My best best player kept getting hacked in the paint while they called ticky tack fouls on the other end. They favor whoever will make them more money. I had 5 older kids vs 11 young kids that can continue to join the league and shell out money. They even gave me the 2nd place medals before the game started and a pep talk how the young kids need this more than ever because this unity keeps them off trouble. Trust me i wasnt going down easy, I was yelling at the refs to call the damn foul.

That's because he learned well during his years of training under Darth Stern.

This is still David Stern's league. Silver came in and got a lot of great PR by banning Donald Sterling's racism. But he's no different.

Why would they want this though? You'd think mixing it up might attract more viewers. It seems like pushing for certain teams to prevail only makes people question the legitimacy of the league.
