So the million dollar question is this... If you guys think the NBA is rigged, why do you keep watching? I found out that pro wrestling was fixed when I was 11 and I stopped watching immediately.

 

Thats in every sport and no team is ever remembered by blaming the refs.

This is a great point. And rather than everyone getting pissed off at each other, we should actually try to have a constructive thread that brings some valid points into play. I don’t think Silver and the NBA determines things like the WWF. So if you feel that way, you shouldn’t watch. I actually watched the super bowl with Tillman Fertida this year,and we had a discussion about NBA and sports rigging. He thinks his experience of being a casino owner, and now owner of the rockets that it’s impossible. However I do believe Foster is still part of a gambling group that Donaghy and others were exposed for. I’m still suspicious that it goes on and he is a big culprit. I’m butt hurt and up late because we lost. And if we shot 25 percent from 3 and as well from the FT line as we did in games 4 and 5 we could have won without CP3.

But I really think there is some shady stuff going on. That’s why I appreciate this thread. And I also appreciate you saying we should move on. I hope the majority of the thread is mainly rockets fans in the end, and honest people as well.

 

Watching that video...all of those were Foster except the moving screen.

I don't think the NBA rigs games either...but they have corrupt refs.

Foster is one of them. Had ties to Donaghy as well.

The only theory that makes sense is that the NBA can't fire him because he has dirt on corrupt officiating and he'll start talking about it like Donaghy did and the NBA doesn't want that again so just let the guy keep officiating.

The most egregious calls were two fouls on Harden in the second half that Foster called "on the floor". How in the hell do you get fouled during a shooting motion and have it not be a shooting foul? TWICE!!! It's not like he got bumped and decided to heave it up in reaction to being fouled. The defender was reaching, Harden swept through and shot the ball, getting fouled in the process. It doesn't matter if "that's not a shot he would normally take". That's not for the ref to decide. Was he shooting the ball? Was he fouled while shooting the ball? Then it's a ****ing shooting foul.

At least on the first one, Harden immediately got the ball again and hit a floater. On the 2nd one, the Warriors were in the penalty and Harden hit 2 FTs. So the refs "only" stole a net 2 points from us on those plays instead of 6.

 

You knowwhat's funny, for a team that has home court in game 7 and is "supposed" to get advantage of the calls, they didn't. So the bias of the referees in this game showed, despite the shotting woes

 

You are right, they didn’t hit four pointers in a row. They sucked tonigh plain and simple

 

not every game is fixed. if cp3 was still in they would have let us win, but as unpopular as harden is with casual fans him alone vs GS 4 stars was a clear $ loser for the league

 

I don't agreed with the video. Glad NBA is doing away with all those Harden cheap hitting arm while lifting trying to shoot and draw foul. You notice that NBA this year often than not, they called a normal foul and have you inbound sideline. I seen a couple times that Durant or Steph did exactly the same thing and look pretty obvious that he was fouled while rising up to shoot but was never rewarded free throws.

The one about Steph out of bound while receiving pass, i don't think he is.

The one about Harden or Gorden getting blocked while attacking the rim....i don't think it's a foul. Jordan Bell was straight up blocking the shot. The driver initiate all the contact.

The one on Bell running into Harden while he shoot a 3....maybe. But Harden has the tendency to exaggerated on things like extending his legs.

 

If I thought that even one game was fixed, im gone. You guys keep hanging on to these crazy conspiracy theories.

 

the rule is only intended to create a non-shooting foul if the player was not in a shooting motion when the foul occurred. in all cases in this game harden was fouled in shooting motion

watch the replay that shows angle from behind green and then watch the contact he makes from behind with gordon's arms. also bell's arms are leaning forward
