I thought MDA did everything he could with what we had.
Ryno's contract definitely hurts us in every single way. Just imagine having another $20 million dollar player like PG13 or Jimmy Butler instead of Ryno.

It was gonna take first round picks, Zach Lowe mentioned it several times in his podcasts. It'll probably cost the same this off season, but will probably go down to one first round pick next year (given only one year left).

6 men rotation will do that.

Ryno cost us the game with his -`12

The lack of bench was a huge factor in this series and people screaming for Lebron don't seem to realize that is going to make it worse because of how much money he makes. I think the heavy minutes was a big factor in how we shot the ball in the second half of these games.

MDA needs to go. Couldn’t get it done in Phoenix, won’t get it done here.

He also said they had a historic season, he is proud exiting in the playoffs before it all began.

They played Anderson, and he got torched as expected.

They played Luc and he looked borderline r****ded on offense.

D'Antoni was put in a crap situation in this series.

I guess Morey isn't quite the genius I once thought he was.

This was the biggest reason for the series loss other than the CP3 injury and scott foster

going into the series, the largest advantage the rockets had was depth (10 players deep vs maybe 6 for Golden state). Theoretically, if Houston could push golden state to 6-7 games, Houston should have had the advantage because they should have been way more rested. That wasn't the case, not even close. MDA threw the depth out the window, gassed Harden and Gordon and made them uncompetative in late stretches

Lol, kinda funny but i still give him a pass this time, i really think we had bad luck...Wright got injured while Nene got washed, Joe got washed while Ryan got...whatever...Luc got injured...

I don't give him a pass for putting Ryan out there in the third quarter tonight, one of the worst coaching moves ever.

For those old enough to remember, that's exactly what happened to his Suns teams when they made deep playoff runs.

D'Antoni is a really really good coach, and can get his team deep in the playoffs with some talent, but its really his biggest flaw, and something his legacy will be defined by with Nash/Amare, and now Harden/CP3. Both teams suffered the same fate where they just got ran into the ground by D'Antoni, but look... he gets them there by doing what he does.

I think the only legitimate counter-argument to this is to play conventional PnR defense, and a least some sort of variation of conventional PnR. If only 7 guys (6 once CP3 went down, and really 5.5 since Harden is so-so at it) can competently switch and defend, then when the bench is expanded, the defense should adjust.

when healthy we have an 8-9 man rotation. that is fine for playoff basketball. we did not have anyone else that could play. everyone else was too old and slow against the warriors. we had bad luck

Would want to see him on the GSW and see if he can win more ships than Kerr. Advantage Kerr.

I think he cannot handle bench players that well.

Maybe. But Anderson was a zero on offense — why try and hide him on defense? Maybe try it with Nene, I could see that argument. Joe Johnson could’ve used more time, as he relieved a lot more offensive decision making and pressure.

I think they should’ve matched Anderson only in the non-Curry time. Hard to do when Curry plays 44 minutes, but so be it.

The loss of Luc hurt a lot more than I realized - it would’ve given Ariza a lot more of a breather.

I def think Kerr is a better coach. Having 4 superstars, three of which are 3 of the best shooters of all time, doesn't hurt though. If you cant win chips with that team you shouldn't be coaching in the YMCA much less the NBA. There will always be an asterisk by Kerrs name but regardless I do think he's a better coach than D'Antoni, but doesn't mean D'Antoni is bad. He's just severely flawed. We've see it on multiple teams now with multiple superstars.

He tried luc and Anderson multiple times and showed nothing, when you are at this stage of the playoffs can't risk playing guy who aren't capable of producing, Anderson and luc got injured at the end of the season and they never regained their confidence, MDA was short handed, cp3 would've made huge difference and I have no doubt if he was playing we could've closed it in Oracle on Sunday.

**** the regular season. There's no trophy for best record, that **** is worthless, Rudy T won a chip with a 45 win squad. Last year Popabitch whipped our ass without Kawhi. MDA is not a championship level coach and he's proven that time and time again so you get the **** outta here with that regular season bullshit ******
