The only thing negative thing to criticize Harden for tonight was stupidity. You drive the ball relentlessly in a game 7 up 11 at the half against the best offense of all time. Relentlessly. Like every single time as fast as you can for the entire half relentlessly. You don't take degree of difficulty 11 3 pts you have been missing all series. If his conditioning isn't there it needs to get better.

But that's also on the coaching staff.

 

Harden is not the type of player that will just put a team on his back and take them to the promise land. Few players are. You will forever be disappointed if you expect him to be that type of player. He has to have another star playing with him who is also a great leader and ball handler preferably. Morey gotta keep trying to get more help because Paul can't be counted on.

If Harden was making all the shots that he usually makes during regular season, he could carry us past GS. But for some reason, he loses his shot during playoffs.

Harden is no LBJ. He becomes a role player in pressure situations like Coachbadlee says. He can't carry a team. He has had a really hard time making shots throughout the playoffs. He is what he is. As much as I like Harden and dislike LBJ, LeBron is the real MVP.
