Well, the Cavs/Celtics got the Marc Davis crew...not sure if I should be happy about that because that still leaves the Tony Brothers crew out there...lingering... I guess if our only options was the Marc Davis crew or the Brothers crew we were screwed anyway. So looks like there will be one more of these games. Marc Davis and Brothers are the two refs that refuse to believe Harden can be fouled.
But touch fouls for KD are cool? KD doesn't have to adjust to crap, he just breathes. You have lost it. You give our own players more crap... learn his tricks my @ss.
We are going to get Scott foster tony brothers. The rockets have never won a playoff game refereed by Foster and we all know how brothers feels about harden
Yep. I'd be surprised if we got anyone else. I'd respect these refs if they call it both ways, if they were just dudes nostalgic for 90s basketball, but they don't. Durant will get touch fouls while Harden will get hammered each time he goes to the rim.
The way Harden is officiated is not fair, man.. GSW has 4 gawd damn all-stars they don't need extra help.
Just read his posts realizing that he doesn’t like harden and has been adamant that the style we play under Morey will never work. Last night he was critizing harden for driving too much
Of course you don't Can you show us on the doll Where harden, dantoni and the Rockets hurt you Rocket River
We should all be rooting for BOS to win tonight. If CLE wins, best result for nba is GS/CLE rematch. If BOS wins, it's 'new blood' HOU/BOS finals. I'm fairly certain that tonights game will more or less directly decide tomorrows result. Cle win = GS win. BOS win = Hou win.
That's BS. YOU clearly see the defender-donkey push harden down with left arm. You need your eyes fixed Either that or you're a worriers fan.
Just because an offensive player initiates contact doesn’t make it not a foul. In fact I’d guess a good 35%+ of all fouls are initiated by the offensive player. Jumping into a defender in the air on a pimp fake. Swinging arms up quickly. Drives to the lane. Etc. some of them are offensive fouls. Positioning per the rule book is the question. Personally, more than the drives, what irks me is the contact at the top of the key. Harden or Paul or Gordon will start to think about driving and the defender will body them a bit. Fact of the matter is ANY time there’s contact up there... it’s a foul, one way or the other. So when you combine all three of: - body bumps at the top - Draymond playing middle field - no fouls at the rim It’s harder to execute this rockets offense.
I mean either way I'm done with game 6, but I just wanna say that had we gotten those calls it would have given our defense chances to set so it has a greater impact than that.
You're only telling half the story here. Realistically my objection has nothing to do with what is defined as legal or not. My objection is Durant gets looked at and it's a foul. The inequity of the calls, the lack of consistency and overall disregard for calling a good even game is what pisses me off. Fine, make all contact legal, turn this into a slugfest, whatever, then go through and get rid of your whistles for both sides, not just one.
