Without Paul it would take the greatest optimist to believe we can win in Golden State!.Not happening. Best hope is we can have a competitive showing and not lose to much momentum and close it out at home with a hobbled Paul at home.
Obviously Harden needs to play great because he's the number one guy and Paul is out. But as we saw earlier in the series, if Harden scores 40 and everybody else ***** the bed, it won't matter. Gordon needs to fill Paul's shoes (which is why he's here), Ariza and Tucker need to hit threes and Capela needs to be himself. Ideally a guy like Green or Ryno has a big performance; with Green being more likely. I'm not holding my breath for Johnson (or any of the other guys) to do much of anything
Never underestimate the heart of a champion, the rockets showed the tough mentality throughout the series, if they really want it they'll perform at the highest level, am not worried about harden and Gordon am pretty sure they'll show up am worried about role players
Harden can’t go 5-21 again. What we need is Clint to be more pro-active off the screen and roll so James can find him as a roller. Trevor needs to look to shoot more or cut to the bucket. Eric needs to shoot it close to 30 times and I believe this is a great chance for Ryno to step up
we just need some smart move without ball and make the open shots, I still can't believe that we missed so many in game 5 and still won
