KD is averaging his fewest rebounds, assists, blocks, steals. & Lowest FG% (In any playoff series as a Warrior)

He's been feasting from the free throw line though

Two authentic playoffs style drag them down and take it all style wins which shows the character of this unit which to be honest was organic and great straight off the bat. From game 1 this season you could see the groundwork for successful team was being built.

As for the players no one really had a standout offensive performance besides Eric but I thought our defense was great for the lion share of the game and particularly the time when it mattered.

What I like to see is for Harden to attack the bucket when the trey ball Is not falling because he can either score at will or draw a foul and make a kick out pass for a good look. Be more pro-active.

I have to say this is by far the best defense I have seen from him ever. He still misses an occasional rotation switch but overall his attention to detail is more alert

I have been very critical of James for a good amount of his tenure on the Rockets. It is objectively true that his defense was & sometimes is borderline trash in the regular season and the playoffs. I would, however, defend that had he had more help on offense, his defense would improve and sure enough, I think it did with cp's arrival.

With this series in particular, we're seeing the biggest mix of TRASH defense and GREAT defense by him and it's really confusing/unpredictable. I want to say that overall, he's definitely giving more effort than I've ever seen, and has shown up at key moments on defense. I like that at the very least, he's getting blown by off of trying to put a body on the ball handler, versus letting average scrubs blow by him for free.

I used to think the biggest weakness in his d was off-ball defense because of his unlimited amount of mental lapses & losing his guy completely when he's running off-ball. But now, after this series, though it still does happen, I'd say he's made great improvements here (huge steals), and really the only big weakness is his perimeter one-on-one d. He still gets blown by 70% of the time, and when the warriors win, it only gets higher.

Having said that, Harden really is due for a great offensive game, no it's not guaranteed. But even if he doesn't, he's gained more of my respect in his overall game/intangibles that contribute to winning. Really hoping he makes a statement in oracle and comes out guns blazing offensively AND defensively, just like that 2nd quarter in game 4. That dude was closer to Lebron level than KD.

The exchange between Curry and Green about how this reminds them of Memphis 3 years ago is hilarious. Comparing this year’s Rockets team to that Memphis team would be insulting if not for the realization that they just don’t have any frame of reference to compare it to.

Rockets are in their heads now and they just don’t want to believe it because they don’t know how to deal with it. Mentally weak team that’s just used to winning on talent alone.

Jim missed a lot of shots but he at least was aggressive in the 4th quarter and didn't settle for jumpers. He made good decision with the ball and set up Gordon for an open 3. And I like how he was okay with CP handling the ball he's off. That tells me he truly is a team player.
