It isn't but this sucks. We are one win away from the Finals...a finals series we can probably win without CP3 assumably. It sucks for him to get hurt at this time. Hopefully it's not serious at all and something we can just be cautious with.
We are trying to win. You guys hating on Dantoni for not resting players more are ignoring the fact that we are fighting for our playoff lives here. Rest when you're dead.
There is still adrenaline rushing. Tomorrow is a different story. Hoping all is well, but not being optimistic.
I'm not melo dramatic like the kids on here. I've lived too long to be negative. Let the news come on, then get depressed. We just won the World Championship(that's right, Celtics ain't beating us) STAY POSTIVE TIRED OF THIS NEGATIVE INTERNET CRAP!!!! WE JUST WON
Exactly!! What are we doing here, fellas. THIS IS IT!! What the hell you resting for? CP went down fighting to the f-cking finish..
It definitely looks like a hamstring strain. But how badly strained is it? per Dr. Google A hamstring strain can be a pull, a partial tear, or a complete tear. Muscle strains are graded according to their severity. A grade 1 strain is mild and usually heals readily; a grade 3 strain is a complete tear of the muscle that may take months to heal.
oh im definitely trying to be positive but im realistic and am all too familiar with this type of injuries. dont turn your cheek to it if youre not familiar with it.
I don't expect Chris Paul in game 6. He'll play through the pain in game 7, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect a significant contribution from him.
Rest Paul game 6 and play a more traditional rotation with Luc, Ryno, Nene, JJ. Shoot a shitload of 3s, let the rested guys ball out on defense and pray for variance.
